Nice if the club got local breweries in on rotation. Proper nice local stuff now, and will help their community outreach programmes. Charnwood Brewery, Langton, Anstey Ale.

Doesnt these issues get discussed on the fans forums?

Who's on that nowadays...tell them to contact the club if no other Avenue prevails

The ques are so long and slow because the staff genuinely can’t use a pair of tongues and don’t know the difference between a pie & a sausage roll!

Tbf that’s no way to handle food in this day and age 👅

You sit there and chaps pour you a litre or two at your seat in Caracas, while another soul lobs you your food from a fair few rows away - and you don’t have to settle the bill till almost the end of the game. It is all kinds of great. Until they do that here I’m staying with not bothering during matches.

This thread is excellent reading. Some of the comments are very imaginative and hilarious - and I agree with pretty much all of them.

Its utter slop, the ale / beer is getting worse and the poor saps who serve it are what Martin O’Neill described Ken Bates as.

Comes up so regularly. This sort of stuff and pre match music etc. Its turned into lip service and tick box fan engagement thing, nothing gets changed.

I went to Brighton away a few years ago. They had LCFC videos on the TV and they put on Everards Tiger in the away end - brilliant. And their pies were excellent too. I’m not one for spending money in football stadiums on food and drink - but I did that day.

Instead of rushing just to queue up anyway at the station, you can have a pint post match and wait for the crowd to die down, it’s great.

People moan about Brighton being an out of town ground but it’s not really that different to Villa or United.

Don’t normally bother buying beer or food at the ground, but the local hero was rammed and the outside bar which is generally quicker was cash only, which I didn’t have.
So we went straight to the ground, had a free can of warm fosters and went straight in.
The queue was small but ridiculously slow.
3 pints of lager and 3 balti pies, which were dry, overcooked and lacking in filling.
Total cost ?

….,, £29.70 😮😮

Even Cov do this.

Really hope Framework/Everards/Charwood/Braybrooke are on at the club to let them get in on the expansion stuff.

This needs to be put to the club by the fans groups. If they’re building a fan zone it will need quality food and drink to get people to use it.

Basically we ripped Tottenham to pieces for it but now we want a first class concourse

Spurs use the same catering company

We ripped spurs (rightly) for the cheese room and the tunnels viewing windows.

Yet they do have a local brewery actually inside the stadium brewing, so that compass contract with LCFC must be watertight. Food selection off memory is ample.

Read this whole thread which appears to be slagging off a company called Compass,  yet it is https://levy.co.uk/partnerships/sport/leicester-city-fc/  who appear to have the contract at the King Power.   Not untypical of a Foxes Forum thread

Rarely use the service myself,   warm beer and cold pies taken in a concrete hovel do nothng for me.

Levy are part of Compass Group.
