People need to remember..
This isn’t just a Leicester thing. It’s everywhere.

You are being trusted to produce a passport to show, how long a person checking it decides to want to look at it is irrelevant. You are being asked to do it. Just do it.
We’ve had plenty of info to say this was happening today and fans still act surprised when there’s a queue at 2.50.
First game the club have had to do this, hopefully going forward things will be a lot smoother.

Going forwards they probably won’t have to do it. Latest discussion on covid passports is that it’s only going to be for indoor venues in England.

Even better then. Gives people on here less to moan about!

Yep, hopefully it will stop the arguments about vaccinated/un-vaccinated on here so we can get back to slagging off Perez 😂

Queues into West stand a block were a joke. All the way up to the hotel. For me they only checked my ST... nothing requested as per vaccination status.

Did anyone have issues exiting A block after the game. I've never seen it so slow.

A block was fine for me got there at 2:30 joined a queue at the club shop exit, got though the people checking tickets quickly and then approached the turnstile with my pass already loaded on my phone, was checked and straight in, whole thing took 5 mins

A block is always slow to leave so I leave via North stand

I know of people and also my wife was very ill.

Your like that old Alsation dog off Eastenders ... Well ard!

They were checking every single person at half 2 when we went in. Absolute joke and shambles as always. Showed my covid passport but could have been anybody's no proof it was mine. My son wasn't checked my wife was searched but not me, and her flask was taken, didn't know we weren't allowed a flask, total joke.

I do, but on top of that I was working at Glenfield Intensive care in February. Boy was that grim.

A shambles as expected. It's unworkable and it always will be. Hopefully this is fed back and they realise that this passport idea and whatnot is a complete non-starter.

The level of covid pass required for events like football matches can be obtained by doing a free PCR test at home and reporting your result online.

It's based on trust, nobody has any idea of your actual result.

Unless the government invest in the infrastructure to make this a centralised system it will always be pointless. Without a centralised system, they don’t have the ability to scan and check the passport is valid and all this will ever be is showing a QR code - that could be anything - to someone who probably couldn’t care less and just wants their shift to pass by without drama.

Can anyone say whether vaccine proof was name checked to the ticket?

Wasn’t asked for proof at all but I doubt it would be since the club surely understand that season ticket holders often give their tickets to friends and family if they can’t make it

I think today the club were just piloting it to see how it affects the queuing and what compliance there was.

I have my doubts about passports though. The vaccines certainly protect against severe disease, but people seem still to get it in mild form and can be infective. So vaxxports are not much protection for others in the Stadium.
