Disagree that Kasper is barely ever talked about. He's one of the best signings we've made. His longevity and standard of keeping in goal has been superb.

I said his name us hardly mentioned when it comes to bargain signings along with the usual suspects.  For a million quid he's one of the best.

I know, I still disagree.

Brilliant keeper and servant for the club.

But he should have saved their goal tonight. He will be very annoyed.

Brilliant 👏 A thread to celebrate a huge milestone and you criticise him on today's performance.

We’ll miss him when he’s gone. Very hard to replace somebody of his caliber. Almost, almost as important for us as Vardy has been over their respective times at the club.

Isn't there someone on here that's adamant that Iverson is going to take the reigns after Kasper. Like it's been decided for years and we're not even considering buying a new keeper?

He'll probably get to 500 apps with us making him our 3rd highest capped player in our history.

Bold, potentially suicidal move from the club if that’s the case….so yeah that sounds about right.

Hard to believe a fresh-faced Kasper played his first game for us away at Coventry in 2011. He has gone on to play 442 games for us, 250 of which have been in the PL.

Winning the PL and FA cup along the way.

What a journey he has been on.

It is going to be a sad day when he hangs up his goals with us.

Him and Vardy are the only ones left who were here during the Championship years.

Would be nice for Vardy, Schmeichel & Albrighton to win the league cup to complete the domestic set

It would be very special and achievable with Man City out and the other big boys possibly distracted by the Champs League.

I'd take 8th and the League Cup all day long.

I wonder if he has eye on running down his contract after his recent interview in Danish press.

Veteran keepers on a free are usually a good signing for big clubs in weaker leagues with a guarantee of European football.

I saw about that interview

Probably end up doing what his dad did and go off to Portugal with one of the big 3 or something like that

Exactly the kind of thing I was thinking.

Maybe even Copenhagen.

In terms of value for money, Kasper has been right up there for us. I have a few frustrations with him, but as a goalkeeper and as bloke, he is absolutely top class and it's been an absolute pleasure having him between the sticks.

His FA Cup final saves will always stand out as will him shouting "don't start with me" at the lino, can't even remember what game it was lol

If he didn't punch the ball into the net on the last day of the season he'd be playing champions league football.

Think it's an incredibly stupid thing for our captain to say to be honest, particularly after an indifferent season.

The club has a ton of decent goalkeepers on the books - iversen, young and ward all look great. It's not my biggest concern if he did decide to leave as good as he's been for us. The corner issues are exacerbated by a guy who won't leave his 6 yard box.
