Not been impressed on recent performances. But then I’ve not been impressed with Kasper either

but not so good a claiming high balls.

Which he's never really done but this season people are taking exception to it so they can appoint blame. It blows my mind people would be suggesting he goes.

I don't believe that the goalkeeping issues are all Kasper. How can he fully command his area in a rigid zonal marking system? His predecessors going back 10 years before his arrival did not come off their line or command their defence.

Yes, Kasper's distribution is no better than average but he sees the ball being sent back to him most of the time or lost completely so he has to make decisions to try to manage the situation.

Kasper is the best all round goalkeeper in the last 15 or even 20 years and you do not succeed and 'overachieve' as we have with a muppet between the sticks. At the Club's level and after our successes, Kasper, Ward etc deserve to be fully supported by a quality goalkeeping coaching team and backed up by a defensive coaching team who are at the same level and on the same page.

We need someone  atleast to give him competition.

Especially IF he is sh1tstirring and making the camp a toxic environment  because he thinks hes ALOT better than he is.

At the end of the day If he was deemed a World beater he wouldn't  still be here.( No disrespect  to us)

You should always be looking for new players before they're going over the hill.

We should have been looking for  ew keeper a season or two ago ideally.

Also, think we need a new goalkeeper coach as it's all too comfy and progress / improvements are not being made

Watched Burnley a few times this season  and if they fail to beat the dro we need to be chucking many pound notes at them for Pope

If we want a 'keeper who can pass/kick a ball he's not the one!

A better game for Kasper but then again many a poor corner/set piece hardly put him under pressure. Some competition would be good and hopefully Danny Ward. Will be given a chance in the forthcoming cup matches and remaining ties of the European tiddlywinks competition.

Ward is strong competition for Schmeichel.

A lot of pundits think Schmeichel is a top keeper.

Although there may be better keepers out there, replacing him would be a risk.  There is no guarantee that his replacement would win the Premier League, the FA Cup and finish in the top 5 on two other occasions.

I dont know how he got the backpass btw, I thought it was in.

He did so well to make the contact he did, too. Could easily have miscontrolled it or knocked it over the line- he scooped it away with power on the stretch.

Ward should start

Then who when we're still conceding from set pieces?

And I was right.

Ward.... does he ever catch a ball? Every shot he palmed away. As for the first goal; glued to his line.

I'll be disappointed if Ward is our succession to Kasper.

He’s utter tripe. Been saying this for a while.

One thing I did notice was when Ricardo came on the first thing he did was shout at Danny to talk to him.  He clearly isn't as vocal as Kasper! Obviously Ricardo had noticed things from the bench.  Nice to have Ricky back - at least he showed a bit of fight and passion!
