I find it genuinely strange watching us without Kasper in goal lol  I am THAT used to seeing him. It’s actually slightly unnerving … Conrad!!!

The away end when that King header went in for 3-2 though 😍

Yes one of the Top 5 / 6 goal celebrations in my experience.

I was as high as a kite for about 20 minutes.

Chopra looked offside to me at the time - I've never checked as too painful - may have a look now through

Yes a yard offside as I thought on the night

On sky sports football right now - EFL Retro: Cardiff v Leicester 2010. I mean wow looking back and watching this team (2010) and hearing some of the names (here’s 👀 wellens) and watching some of the ‘play’ … my god we have come so far as a team and as a club in general. Here’s to a better year year of football. It’s still on btw if anyone is interested. Kermo has just come off the bench Lol.
What is sad is that we have fans now that seem to think we are entitles to a top four finish. Looking at that period you’d label me mad if I was to tell you the honours we’d win within the next ten years.

I remember thinking we were pretty decent at the time although I feel we punched above our weight that season to make the play offs. I also wrongly remember thinking Peter Whittingham was a premier league standard player....

Yes I watched it :D

My goodness, poor Waghorn was so utterly crushed by that penalty save.  :(

It's still baffling that Kermorgant ever thought that the chip was appropriate in any competitive situation.

Also, I'd forgotten the fantastic chances we had to clinch it before it went to penalties.

Berner and Solano were class.

Thank goodness that so much has happened since, to make us forget the disappointment of Cardiff.

Brilliant.

Think this is a couple of years after Iain Hume but I was a big fan of him.

He was about 3ft but used to jump to about 18ft and just hover. He could still do a job for us now defending set pieces.:giggle:

I reckon the refs disappearing spray was invented because of him.

I haven’t looked at it either, but at the time was convinced he’d run back from a well offside decision. Was the topic of conversation all the way home. Supposed to have been one of the top referring teams in the Europe / World - felt we was robbed at the time!

Still you need these gut wrenching disappointments to really appreciate the good times!

Any idea of the name of the program, as it’s not showing up searching on Sky 🙏🏻

Remember when we played Newcastle on the August bank holiday Monday. Unfortunately we came up against the future Didier Drogba.

After how sky talked him up he must have ended up getting a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Last heard of at Boreham Wood, or somewhere.

Always thought he was decent. Shocking he died so young.

Peter Whittingham did a great job for Cardiff.  Easy to think he died in 2020 due to falling down some stairs whilst drunk.
