When people have discussed it with each other afterwards they've realised. I've seen it on another forum. I think it depends on how you reach the website as to which word you get, whether you go via the original website or through the new NYT page.

I've put it below in white text so you can highlight over it, as we don't have spoilers here:

Today's word is either AROMA or AGORA. The former is a common word, but the latter I didn't even realise was an English word and never would've got it (luckily I got the former), I only know it as a Greek restaurant in Portsmouth.

Ah ok, I've only known people get the first word and that's what I got.
