I think Kone would be a fantastic signing. Pain in the arse to play against and a goal machine. Exactly what you want from a number 9.

He isn’t coming here

id say so; suspect we are once again being use as a tool to increase bids, norwich wont be after him as theyve got a striker in too

think he'll go swansea

all roads point to Swansea and us being used as a pawn to get a deal with them closed.

I don't think we're in a position to be bidding until we get more of the dead wood out the door.

Good that things seem to be happening now tho

We've seen a lot of Richard Kone as we follow Wycombe as our 2nd team. He's good and very promising, but IMO not ready for the Championship just yet (last season was his first full season in the League). He needs another full year at League One level to improve on fitness and all round play. He's quick-ish. but no Vardy pace-wise. It would be a gamble and I'd hate for him to fail.

I think he's ready for the Championship, still got a lot of improving to do to then be able to go to the next level but I don't see what another year in League One will do for his development.

No way Turdking is sanctioning a deal for a 22 year old.  Any player must be over 32 and going down hill.

Disagree entirely.

The attributes are there, we just need to give him time like we did with Vardy (well tbh the majority wrote Vardy off after the first season).

I think anyone, no matter how talented, is going to be very difficult to judge when they're playing up top for Wycombe!!!

One way of playing, limited quality of supply, only really going to get scoring opportunities from one route.

And he still got 18 goals. He's absolutely worth £4m to anyone in the Championship.

If we want him he will out of the clubs involved

I fear we need to raise fund before signing anyone which was alluded to in the press a few weeks ago. We haven’t got rid of anyone yet so worry we will miss out by not acting in time.

We need someone who can play up top now though, is the issue. I can't do a season of Daka.

Coady and Hermansen are virtual done.
