Do a little bit of digging into who our chief scout spent most of his career working for… dots will be joined
em9999 Posted 7 July Posted 7 July Club is skint staff at bare bones inside stadium .. Budget cut ✂️ to shreds
Lad1966 Posted 7 July Posted 7 July RM is the only manager we could get, because everyone else that’s not desperate wouldn’t want to work under the twsts running this club. We probably paid hush money to keep the last few managers to keep their gob shut to stop them telling the media the lies they told when they got the job, and that’s why we don’t any money to spend, despite most of the big earner leaving the club😡

All I can think of is as soon as Monga is confirmed, or another outgoing we will confirm some signings. Or we aren't signing anyone because we have no money. Edited 8 July by teblin 1

Not sure what the difference is, if it’s not money then why would be need to wait for departures?

The combined information could be written as one sentence : "As soon as the Monga deal is confirmed, the club can demonstrate that they have the money (which they currently can't justify spending, as they are being watched like a hawk by the EFL) so they can announce new signing(s) without further scrutiny of this finacial years finances"

Not sure what the difference is, if it’s not money then why would be need to wait for departures? We need to remember that the Monga sale is 10m up front. Which means you could in theory purchase 2/3 players for 10m each on 3 year contracts (only 3.33m per season for each player). Obviously I don't think we do that. But the club have been rumoured to want Championship players that will drop down for a season. So it makes sense that we need more money and are therefore waiting for Mongas deal to come through before we finalise these incomings.

Didn't someone say the Monga deal will happen on the 11th ?

Likely won't go through until he's 17 right? which is July 10th. So yes, July 11th makes sense. If we don't see a fair few through the door after the 11th, I'll start to worry. 1

PageSZN Posted 8 July Posted 8 July 5 minutes ago, em9999 said: Lol your only now starting to worry You have a lot catching up to do I mean ideally we had players in already. The longer we leave it, the worse it is for our season. But it was clear we need to sell before we can buy... And we haven't sold an asset yet. That's the reasoning of why I am not worried about incomings yet.
HankMarvin Posted 8 July Posted 8 July 1 hour ago, FoxinNotts said: so they can announce new signing(s) without further scrutiny of this finacial years finances" It’s dynamic real time reporting, not a one off. We must be sustainable throughout the whole season. 1
coolhandfox Posted 8 July Posted 8 July I think it pretty obvious, we have a lot players signed on high wages which we still need to off load before adding more players, Winks, BCDR, Faes, Kristiansen, Souttar, Vestergaard etc. Same old story. 2
