16 years of age and looking like he wanted to get on the ball and make things happen. Hopefully that’s the first minutes of a great career - the boy certainly has talent.

Is he a Leicester fan? Same question really for the other academy lads. I love the idea of us having a number of Leicester fans on the pitch all playing at the same time at the top end of the premier league one day.

16 years old, the boy has a long way to go.

My lad is a Leicester fan and also most of his age group are. U11s. It helps getting tickets through the academy. I can only hope that one day he'll make his debut. He turned round today on our way back from a tournament at Tottenham and said he wants to be the youngest to make his debut. 😂😂😂 Nice target I suppose.

The difficulty is with the kids is stepping up, I don’t know if anyone can recall Brandon Barker? I think it was, who played for man city. I can remember watching him play out academy and he looked quality, and then as far as I’m aware he vanished into the obscurity of the football no mans land…… 

 

Making that step is key, and he’s got the confidence to do that, and clearly has the skill set to also.

That’s why days like today are so special, your lad is only a few years behind Alves really, so he’s gets to see him make his debut today and that must be a motivational thing! Just keep telling him Barnes, Thomas, Chillwell, KDH, Hamza, McAteer and many more have all made debuts recently…. No better club to be at in my opinion for getting a chance!

100% agree. We're in Syston but had options to sign at alot of clubs including Man City, Arsenal, Villa, Everton etc. We were always going to sign at Leicester. As parents we saw the potential with how our club is changing. It also helps having the new training ground right on our doorstep. 😂

I remember that very match, didn't they stuff us about 6-1 and Barker was an absolute machine. Think he ended up on loan in the SPL for a while, may even have been Rangers.
