Lako42 Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 We are getting a really shitty reputation at the minute
Popular Post Eightyeight Posted 6 February 2022 Popular Post Posted 6 February 2022 Embarrassing fans throwing chairs at pubs that didn’t even have football fans in them (not that it would be ok, but I’d understand it more if they actually targeted a Forest pub). a mess of a man attacking the Forest players and an embarrassing performance on the pitch. awful day for the club. 7

purpleronnie Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 You just know that if safe standing was ever bought in on mass in the top 2 divisions the authorities will be chomping at he bit to take it away due to the endless morons that still go to games. 1
Popular Post Freeman's Wharfer Posted 6 February 2022 Popular Post Posted 6 February 2022 You can’t be running on the pitch and punching opposition players. The lad will rightly get a punishment for that. But the rest of it comes with the territory of a football local derby. You can sit here saying “these morons are not loyal supporters” (probably kidding yourselves - I bet those lads travel up and down the country) and wishing it was all light-hearted jibes and handshakes at full time saying the best team won but unfortunately you’re deluding yourself. It’s always been tribal and will always be tribal. That’s what made the game what it is today and trying to bend it to what you want to be, as opposed to what it has always been, is where you’ll start to feel disappointed. Fans aren’t representing the club, the club is representing the fans. 12 1
BigShambles Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Scum. Unsurprising really, this shit happens time and time again with our fanbase.

They keep the points tally going up and also make a tenner. I've no proof mind, only hearsay. If this is true then the person who let him use their ticket should get their points wiped out. I don’t have an issue with people loaning their season ticket out for home matches or if someone wants to go to an away match, I’ve done it before to friends and family (only if they support City mind) But if there was the risk that all their points could be lost, banned from travelling away or even their ticket taken from them then they’d be a lot more careful about who they let use it. Isn’t this in the rules anyway??? 2
AKCJ Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Think it says a lot that all that shameful stuff happened and yet I'm more embarrassed about the players.
Lesterlad Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 The moron who ran on the pitch will get a life ban and rightly so! So we have idiots like that who are likely to have priority points for away games, mind boggles

If I decide not to go and someone wants they can have. I know they not a bellend…Stop moaning Liverpool tickets still on sale. Go get a point….😂 The members ballot is the biggest joke… 2

Derbies are great in football, and aside from the game, I enjoyed today but targetting none-football fans and singing about a dead man is not part of a local derby. 11

Reminds me of the kind of groups I often saw following football in Eastern Europe. I know it's always been there in England but I can't remember it being this bad when I started watching football in the 90s. Maybe I'm being naive. You can’t blame lockdown for the man’s brain being as developed as a goats turd 2
woodland fox Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 (edited) I am a season ticket been loads of away games this season and that is when we are only allocated 3000 ticket allocation, and I could get a ticket. Now we have a 4000 allocation I don’t get a ticket but fans who are not season ticket holders get tickets and I know a few of them are only there for trouble.what can you say Edited 6 February 2022 by woodland fox Put I could not get a ticket but I could. 1
Nod.E Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Our recent success couldn't have happened to a more undeserving bunch. Leicestershire is an odd place and I couldn't be happier that I moved out the moment I had the choice. 1

Other then today anything else of the top of your head?? I really don’t think our fans are any worse then any other club in the division tbf, and if anything especially at home we are more of a family club then most

Fans aren’t representing the club, the club is representing the fans. In the 80s we had years of politicians saying these people aren’t supporters of their clubs while not much happened about it. It couldn’t be further from the truth. I knew die hard lads, fans, City through and through, no denying it. They’d travel everywhere watching us, get pissed and fight. It wasn’t until they got serious about facing the problem head on that and acknowledging the issues that the problem got sorted. And has much as people hate them sky played a big part in rebranding the game and helping to move it away from the years of violence and into the modern era. While there is still incidents, it will never get like it used to, there isn’t generally the intent for it from enough people and the police are far more adept at combating and adapting to problems. 1

How is Leicestershire an odd place, yea there are some not so desirable places to live in the city/county but there are also some great towns and villages! Very odd comment to say our fans didn’t deserve the success, after the decade of shit that was put before! Edited 6 February 2022 by Joe90lcfc 10

If you pass your ticket on to someone else, then you become responsible for what the person does. I'm not saying the original holder should be banned for life like the hooligan, but he should certainly have all his points cancelled so he can't do it again. 2

As far as I can see, we have a fan base that stuck with the club to the depths, suffered disappointment after disappointment and deserved every bit of the success we’ve had. 17
