Without any football fans? Where on earth has that myth come from?

Even if it was a myth, does that now make it OK?

Come on man.

People in hoods throwing tables and chairs at places that did not even have opposition fans in? Absolute morons.

Derbies are great in football, and aside from the game, I enjoyed today but targetting none-football fans and singing about a dead man is not part of a local derby.

But it’s something what has happened for years. So the outrage shouldn’t be viewed as something new.

A few here will remember Derby in the mid 90s smashing up a kwik save on Buckminster Road

Idk if the bloke today is on here or any of his mates but I hope someone’s there to tell him to reevaluate

He works in the ticket office and is fed up of getting free tickets and this was the only way he could get out of getting free tickets

It's odd that for a club with such a hooligan element, that it's awful quiet at home games

A lot of the stuff that happened in the centre were people without tickets, there were minibuses full of people going over just for a piss up and trouble in Nottingham.

Excellent, I’m Cambridgeshire, now that’s a shit hole can’t wait to get back to Leicestershire. I’m sure there’s parts off Cheshire that have idiots…🤔

I have a low tolerance for idiots. For sure, they're bloody everywhere. Leicester is one place, like many others, that over indexes.

Exactly, that's kind of my point.

As does foxestalk but you come on here looking down on everyone, why not move away from here as well?

A football club and its fanbase is a community. You’re claiming you want to be part of that community whilst throwing negativity at that same community.

I mean you can have negative opinions on a community you're part of anyway, it's not a cult

I can't really compare to any other teams but we do seem to have a fanbase that is slightly above-average strange.

Defo not. Palace are the absolute weirdest. Google videos of ‘holmesdale fanatics’ or ‘palace ultras’ or anything of their matches v Brighton. Ultimate weirdness

As a person who used to live in Cheshire, that county definitely isn't the utopia it's painted to be when it's got the towns of Crewe, Warrington and Runcorn in it lol

You seem to have taken offence when I was writing about idiots. Sorry.

Fair enough. I grew up in Norfolk so I probably shouldn't comment on weirdness.

Our recent success couldn't have happened to a more undeserving bunch. Leicestershire is an odd place and I couldn't be happier that I moved out the moment I had the choice.

As John McEnroe would say ‘you cannot be serious!!!!’ How is our fan base undeserving lol, the madness we’ve been through from 2002 onwards makes us very deserving. How is Leicestershire an odd place? Where else have you lived to compare this too? Are you living in utopia now or just another drab provincial English region. Did you have any friends at school ?

Thank you for providing a fine example of exactly the kind of thing I've been trying to explain.

I live with plenty of idiots around me . They support many teams. Believe me Leicestershire is a good place to live.

They’re everywhere unfortunately some places have more than others…👍😊

Most of the idiots support London teams. 🙄🙄

If being an idiot is not going round thinking I’m better than everyone I’m communicating with then lock me up and throw away the key.

Answered my question. Another drab provincial English place

This was not intended as a dick waving contest for where we each live. Leicestershire folk are a bit weirder than the average population, and their football fans are a bit crap. Let's leave it there.

Without reading every post in this thread and knowing how sensible and rational FT is, can someone summarize in a short post as to what is going to happen to our wonderful Football Club after this masterclass performance? Thank you so much as I am currently in the casualty dept. of my local Hospital awaiting stitches in my wrists.
