Anyone else noticing supermarket prices in general sneakily creeping up since the budget?

Tesco's have put up loads of their prices over the last couple of weeks.

Yes. I have noticed 20 pence on this and 50 pence on that in the last month. With another round of the usual shrinkage.Meat and chocolate etc.The Nestle crunch bar which I’m told is the most unethical thing money can buy (Can’t resist them)Only sold in certain corner shops these days for some reason, sum up the last few years.Gone up 50% changed wrapper and a quarter of the original size!!!

I think it only takes a couple of wayward missiles to hit the wrong things and we are in a real pickle again,

Yeah big time. For example for Tesco sliced cheese used to be 2 for £4 now 2 for £4.50. Which is an insane price increase. And that’s only one I’ve noticed.

Yes, we do our shop online and it’s pretty much the same things every week. But the last 2/3 weeks we’ve noticed a lot of price rises & shrinkage in multipack items.

The price of olive oil is revolting

It is, but there's a lot of issues causing it (not defending how much oils are in general)

Supermarkets are insane and I hate them all.

I do most of my shopping in home bargains and then just get the bits they don't sell from the supermarkets.

My biggest annoyance is the clubcard price malarky, it's not an offer, just make it the price. Amount of times I've forgot my clubcard and walked out empty handed in protest

It annoys me that these big supermarkets(Tesco probably the worst culprit) can charge you almost double for an item, if you don't happen to have their loyalty card.  Since I don't like to shop at the same store all the time, I need three or four of these so called loyalty cards, or pay 8 quid for a decent double kitchen towel.

Someone in the queue will always let you use their loyalty card

Nah **** em. I hate them and Sainsbury's for this stupid idea.

Asda gone crap. Morrisons was ridiculously expensive last time I went.

Lidl and Aldi are like shopping in a bin.

I hate supermarkets

The price of kitchen roll is absolutely insane. We are going to buy that just from b and m now rather than the supermarkets.

I get all my kitchen roll, bog roll, toiletries and cleaning products from home bargains. I also get some food from there including some fresh, frozen and general goods and I save a fortune compared to the supermarkets.

My local home bargains is huge and by far the best shop in the area.

The only downside is they don't have everything so I still have to get some bits from elsewhere.
