No, you can save to phone and show it at the ground. I am always nervous that my phone battery will die.

Mines just arrived, glad to see it's see it's only photo id needed. all Italian games I've gone to always used my driving licence, not a chance taking my passport out for the day on the sauce.

We were told it had to be printed originally, I guess (if so) it's the avoidance of hassle of printing it off over in Rome.

As an aside, I remember before the internet, if you wanted anything printed or photocopied etc abroad and you were in a 4/5 star chain hotel, you would go down to the "business centre" and chat up the 45 yr old milf in a business suit. If the flirting didn't work, you'd see a whacking great entry on your bill for the service. Swear one year I must of spent a grand of the firm's money literally on faxing.
