I don’t like the Liverpool version related to their club but hearing the Irish sing fields of athenry is awesome.. went to Celtic park a few years ago with family and they played it pre match warm up. For me that was a wow moment

Sunshine on Leath is the best football anthem imo.

Liquidator is also great just getting the crowd moving, my best mate was at the Champions League final when Chelsea won it in Munich and that was insane.

Went a west brom wolves game and it sounded amazing coz both sets of fans were singing it against each other..F**k of west brom...Wanderers or F**k of Wanderers...West Brom.

Can't be that difficult to have an insane atmosphere when you've just won the champions league surely?

Goes to show that actually playing a song over the PA system is the way to do it.

Forgot about this, absolutely spine tingling.

Not sure jealousy is the right word. I've never felt jealous of other clubs traditions/behaviours.

I've always liked songs like It's a Grand Old Team or Marching On Together though. Feel like we should use "This is the season for us".

Here's a different one for you.

I was always insanely jealous of Kashima Antlers and their pre-match 'Ikari wo agero' chant. It's the first 1:45 of this video:

I've been in the away end at Kashima three times following YFM and I was genuinely almost moved to tears the first time. 20,000 odd singing that - it's mesmeric.

Japanese football is interesting - supporters groups are insanely well organised and will stand supporting for 90 minutes non-stop (well, until Covid ****ed that up...) yet there's basically 0 interaction with the away fans like we have here.

FC Tokyo, on the other hand, are absolute cringe and have You'll Never Walk Alone as their anthem. That's a lot of L's and R's for a Japanese crowd :D:P

Lord's My Shepherd definitely deserves a shout out. Mental that a bunch of pissed-up Yam Yams in best clobber belt out an actual fvcking Psalm every Saturday before they play.

I'll be honest, remember that cup game back years ago when we gave them the whole family stand and they fvcking smashed us?

They turned up en masse and I still have vivid memories of the whole end absolutely belting it out. Still some of the loudest noise made at the KP to date.

On the Ball City at Norwich is the oldest in the world and therefore deserves credit. Goodnight Irene at Bristol Rovers is another enjoyable one.

Bristol Rovers is a cracking shout.

Norwich can do one.
Scrimmage,Bravo and Hoorah are in the lyrics

Marching On Together, I occasionally break into it because it's so catchy. Also the anthem you're most likely to hear randomly anywhere in the country too
