MattFox Posted 4 March 2023 Posted 4 March 2023 (edited) FIFA have basically adopted the “no one likes we don’t care” thing so seems pretty fitting Edited 4 March 2023 by MattFox 2
coolhandfox Posted 4 March 2023 Posted 4 March 2023 Palace getting pulled into the battle at the bottom if they lose today that will be 1 win in 9. If they don't score it will also be 4 goals scored in 9 games. 1

They were the team that I thought would get dragged in from mid-table, something isn’t right for them having had such a strong season in Vieira’s first year. 1

The fact they're still relying on Zaha to bail them out of trouble in games after all these years is probably the issue. Bit like us with Vards - it catches up with you eventually if your other attacking options aren't good enough to fill the space when they start to decline (we've been lucky to have Madders grow into that "game saver" role). Zaha's not on that level yet, but he's the wrong side of 30 and his numbers are dropping - unless he hits a purple patch he may not even make double figures this year in the league. Beyond that their attacking options are meh at best. That two years into Vieira's reign, they're still persisting with Eze, Olise and Ayew is surprising. Those are all Demarai Gray "one good game in ten" players - and that's generous for Ayew in particular. You'd think he'd have the pulling power for someone a little more consistent. coolhandfox Posted 4 March 2023 Posted 4 March 2023 Hard to believe we could go up to 12th today if we win and results stay the same.
The Bear Posted 4 March 2023 Posted 4 March 2023 Kane doing his usual job of falling over at every slight contact, then trying to ref the game.
