Or sack the cvnt.

Not going to happen. But I agree completely.

If Top won't sack the cvnt, then putting him somewhere he can cause the least damage but still feel important would suit all parties.

Last week I saw someone photoshopped a pic of Ward trying to save the 2nd Murphy goal so that it looked like he was reading the paper on the bog. Made me howl.

Genuinely think he is the worst keeper we have ever had, I'd take some of the crap we had in the late 00s over Ward in a heartbeat

Can't stand him and there is absolutely no excuse for him to ever step on a pitch for us again, disgrace to let him besmirch the shirt at this point

Worst signing in our history without a doubt. Mental that we spent £10m on a backup keeper when we had one of the best in the world ahead of him, and a guy who was never going leave.

Said it yesterday but I genuinely believe he has the yips/some kind of mental block when he plays PL football for us. Was pretty good in cup competitions before he became number 1, and even in the cup this year he looked a lot better. But for whatever reason, he genuinely looks lost out there in PL games. Not hyperbolic in the slightest to suggest that I've seen many a league 2 keeper who is miles better than what he's producing.

First goal was pathetic defending from Vestergaard in particular, and whilst Ward should have done better, it was also taken quickly and put in that really awkward spot down low so understandable he didn't save it.

Second goal was again dreadful from Justin but surely there was a shout from Ward? Justin is probably guilty of trying to go to the ball too much if anything.

Third goal, well that is where he has absolutely zero excuse. PL keeper should save that 99/100 (if not 100%).

Iversen must think about jacking it all in if he's behind Ward in the pecking order.

What is clear, whether you like booing during the game or not, the message has been made and has been picked up by RvN and the pundits- something that might have been lost if it was at half time or full time.

What ever happens I hope RvN takes some time to understand people's feelings towards Danny Ward.

I personally feel that he can't be as bad in training as how he is performing, as he just wouldn't be picked. However he is so disliked as a goalkeeper by our fans that it's unsaveable and we are at a disadvantage as soon as he plays.

I personally feel it is better that he doesn't play again due to the effect he has on the fans, something that Iverson doesn't suffer from (regardless of who os the better keeper).

Hopefully it's all academic and Mads is back soon anyway!

Yes. That’s the critical thing for me.

Ward is emblematic of our fall from grace. He was a big part of our relegation and is a representation of all the mistakes that got us to that point (i.e. filling the squad with incompetent players, on very high wages, that we can’t shift). Him playing again in the Premier League is a bit like sending someone with PTSD back to a war zone for both him and the fans.

If RvN wasn’t aware of this history then he is now. Ward shouldn’t be near a PL squad when there are other options. Even if it’s arguable whether those other options are superior

Well, for what it's worth, highly probable that RVN starts Danny Ward against Liverpool (if Mads Hermansen's not fit by Thursday) based on his post-match comments.

It would be in our best interest if we showed our love and support as opposed to booing our own goalkeeper as some fans did yesterday in the stadium.

Everybody needs to put their anti Ward energy into the real issue and actually start calling out the utter ****tard who's responsible for him still being here.

Agree entirely.

Ward is a symptom of the disease … at least the fan base is starting to recognise there’s something wrong

Cheers Mrs Ward, despite the atmosphere yesterday I hope you both had a lovely evening.

It's very hard to back someone who we know is not good enough. My heart sank when I saw his name on the team sheet. This isn't a one game thing. He was awful in the relegation season and it's continued. He needs to leave for everyone's sake.

But the whole team needs to up their game, otherwise it will be a heavy, if not record breaking, scoreline.

Edit - I don't agree with booing a player during the game isn't constructive.

So Ruud says he handled the booing from the crowd very well, shame the same can't be said for his handling of the ball Ruud. 😭

I disagree, we need to make the atmosphere and our  feelings to Ward as hostile as possible so he takes him out of the squad.

The geezer doesn’t give a toss, he’s earning bags off being a fat **** who’s at best a league one or league two keeper. Clapping the **** won’t do anything

"dear Danny, we care about you and think you should retire rather than continue to embarrass yourself".

don't think it'll catch on as a chant tbh

Putting players like that in your team will get you sacked mate.

Obviously players shouldn't be booed individually but you only had to take 5 minutes to work out that the relationship between Ward and the fans is broken beyond repair. He shouldn't be here and unless you want to end up losing your job, yesterday should be the last time Ward wears the Leicester kit.

He's relegated us once and he will happily do it again. Do not play him.

Having watched way too much of Danny Ward, I think if I was shooting against him I'd probably aim AT him. He seems to actively find a way of not getting in the way of the ball. It's bizarre.
