TMELcfc Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 (edited) Just watched the goals back again, and is it me, or was he reallllllyyyyy slow in reacting once it hit the bar? Yes Castagne was half asleep, but he has been asleep since the world cup, so no shocks there. Edited 4 February 2023 by TMELcfc 3

Christoph Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Surely the next game he needs dropping? Ivverson surely deserves a chance 1
cruzFOX Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 The way he landed it looked an eternity for him to get back up. Top goalies practise this a lot and ward is way off the mark! does not fill me with any confidence bug he does make the odd good save.

At this point though, surely you have to blame the manager for constantly selecting him. I'm not convinced on Iverson from what I seen against Gillingham, I can't see much about the two goals he could of done today. Not convinced by either over all though. 2
Popular Post Mike1983 Posted 4 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 4 February 2023 People here saying he’s championship level, have any of you actually watched any championship games lately? No way any Championship side would take this clown on. 6 1

Ivverson surely deserves a chance I can't say I like the look of either of them... but it has taken this long to get Kele a start up top, so we won't be seeing a change in keeper this soon, goes against Rodgers principles (stubborness). If we stay up this season, we have to get a new keeper in the summer
StriderHiryu Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 If we stay up he will 100% be replaced in the summer. He needs to be. I don’t think he’s as dreadful as is sometimes made out but I think his level is for a team battling against relegation. And that’s one reason why that’s exactly where we find ourselves.
Popular Post ARTY_FOX Posted 4 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 4 February 2023 Priority number one is a keeper that actually tries to get in the way of the ball. 3 6
Beachyboy Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 I wasn't convinced by Schmeichel for a year or two before he left, I don't think Ward is the answer, an hopefully we sign a gk in the summer. Henderson would of been ideal at the time he was available.

lgfualol Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Every time the opponent shoots I just expect it to go in with Ward. We need an upgrade in the goalkeeping department, both with our number one and coaching.

FrankieADZ Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 am I wrong hoping Ward gets injured, just so Iverson gets a go............

Popular Post Mickyblueeyes Posted 4 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 4 February 2023 After catching bits of Tete today I’m convinced we have at least 4 match winners in our starting 11. That’s plenty for any side. Ward however can single-handedly cost us at least 20 points. If we stay it will in spite of him. Incredibly poor player. 5

I must admit I wasn't convinced he was that bad until today and you're right he will cost us many points for the rest of the season
Bazly Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 (edited) Ward had his confidence crushed with his World Cup cameo. It'll take him a few games to get back to being poor again. Edited 4 February 2023 by Bazly 1
FoxTimmy2 Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Ward is no keeper, he’s about as useful as an elephant in a minefield. 2

Guest nathan. Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 I hope somebody treads on his little finger in training.
