1st game for my daughter. Even though we didn’t see any goals, she enjoyed it. It’s a great way to introduce younger kids to football. Unlucky at the end, should have finished that chance at the death.

I think I’ll take her again.

It's great that she enjoyed it. There's a lot to like about women's football, and I guess a lot of people will find the whole atmosphere a lot less overpowering (and way less testosteroney) than men's football often is.

Keeper was very good. Some cracking saves!

Just seen the highlights. Shows what a difference to the side a decent keeper (and manager) has made in terms of grinding out results.

Bott Could Play A Part, Says Kirk
LCFC WOMEN
Published 3 hrs 52 mins ago

LCFC Women manager Willie Kirk says CJ Bott's fitness will be assessed before Wednesday's visit to Tottenham Hotspur Women.

- LCFC Women face Tottenham Hotspur away on Wednesday (7pm GMT kick-off)
- CJ Bott could return to the squad after missing the last couple of games
- That WSL clash may be too soon for Bott, but City can't rule her out
- Jess Reavill will miss the trip to London due to personal reasons

City travel to face Spurs in the Barclays Women's Super League just three days after drawing 0-0 with Everton at King Power Stadium on Sunday. The Foxes are bottom, but could leapfrog the north Londoners, in 10th, with a win.

New Zealand defender Bott, though, has been absent since the 1-0 win at Liverpool Women in the middle of February. She will be monitored by the Club's medical team before a decision is made concerning her fitness to play.

Other than Jess Reavill, it will be the same squad available to us that only featured a few days ago against Everton.

"It's possibly too early for CJ," the manager told the media in Friday's press conference at Belvoir Drive. "But we cant rule it out, we will have to see how she develops over the next 24 hours."

Other than the longer-term injuries to Shannon O'Brien, Jess Sigsworth and Lechante Paul, former Everton coach Kirk said that Academy defender Jess Reavill is the only absentee for Wednesday's game.

He added: "Jess will miss Tottenham. She has personal reason to miss the game, which we are aware of and totally understand, so she will stay at home for this one, and should be back for Aston Villa.

"That's it. Other than Jess, it will be the same squad available to us that only featured a few days ago against Everton, so we're looking forward to head into Wednesday's game with a strong team."

Dont think I have ever seen a keeper make such a big difference to a team, once again our opponents had so many more shots, yet not the goals for it due to our keeper.  Feel we have missed the boat not making sure we tied her to a contract she will have offers in the summer.

I'd love to know what our passing completion in the final 3rd is for the season.

Be surprised if it more then 50%.

Yeah its been a problem all season, but the defending woes distracted from it.

We just create nothing, we don't have a single player who can beat someone or play a killer ball, or has a decent shot on them.
