Cant fault their effort, but its all huff and puff, with no quality.  The decision making and passing in all areas of the pitch, more often than not is shocking.  They never look like scoring goals, and if you can`t score goals then you are going down, and sadly thats the way our ladies are heading. I`m not sure how seriously the club are with developing a top level WSL team, because although there has been a big turnover of players since promotion, the level of player recruited has probably been a mixture of Championship and bottom of the WSL standard, so we shouldnt be surprised if we end up back in the Championship.

We just create nothing, we don't have a single player who can beat someone or play a killer ball, or has a decent shot on them.

The women's game was a chance I feel to run football in a different way which would have smaller gaps between the top and bottom teams, but we seem to be heading down the same road where all the best players want to play for the top few teams, and those teams having the finances to snap them up.  I think even Manchester United who are second are struggling to hold onto a striker?

...Kirk seems to have got this wrong!!!

We needed to have had a real go at this team as they were so fragile, but still they seemed technically better than we are. We can't do the basics and weak all round. Mace and Plumptre seem to understand about the game and do play with urgency, everyone else is a yard slower that anyone they come up against.

We should have had two upfront, the problem is we cannot string two passes together even when we get near the box.

It might just come down to the last game to save ourselves.

On the plus side, not only was I thinking about last nights game during the day yesterday, and then watched it on FA tv (shite stream though), but also found myself swearing at our players in frustration, much as I do with our men's team.  A sure sign that they have me emotionally invested. Adds to my current footballing misery though! lol

Seems decent that

Yeah we had 4th highest average attendance last season from memory, think we’ll fall a bit down the list this time because more teams are using the main stadiums but we’re still doing well all told

Can we watch this game online anywhere?

On Fa player website, may need to sign in/up but if you’ve already go an fa fan number membership I think that works.

You can also download the fa player app on your phone tablet.

Keep playing as we are I can see us getting something here. Need to be careful not to push too hard and concede another leaving ourselves open at the back.

Went well
