refereeing standards in this country are so low as to be in Australia. obviously part of the problem is that there's no incentive to be a ref when the pinnacle of your career is being called a cheat by Jürgen Klopp, but you wonder what training they're going through...

Relying on Reading to not get anything against Chelsea on the final day then, if we don't get anything vs Brighton.

Chelsea could win the title today if Man Utd don't beat Man City, so let's hope they're not 'on the beach'.

on the beach or not Chelsea will batter them. Magda Eriksen and Pernille Harders final games so they'll want to sign off in style

we'll stay up but really need to start investing more. the world record transfer fee is like 6 weeks of Bertrand's wages, it wouldn't take much to become a competitive team

The problem is finding those players when there’s a shortage and then convincing them to join LCFC rather than some Super 6 parent club.

I mean I'm not suggesting buying world class talent, what I'm saying is when world class talent costs less than £500k, you can comfortably build a whole team of midtable level talent for a relatively cheap amount

the timewasting has been ****ing awful as well, just insufferable, need a serious attempt by refs to stamp it out by enforcing the rules on how long keepers can hold the ball and handing out more bookings for it

Yet the ref somehow only gives 1 more minute on top of the minimum added

How much revenue do the women’s team bring into the club.

Wouldn’t imagine much but the day out I’ve had down at the KP is like a different world from militant North Korea vibes of the blokes games. Getting kids watching Leicester wearing Leicester shirts is priceless

Lacked composure today. Trying too hard, unlike most of our men's team, who saunter round the pitch day dreaming of which club they will be at next season.  The ladies have improved massively compared to Lydia Bedfords time though, but scoring goals remains a problem, despite improving a bit.  Shannon O'Brien should have scored second half, but I knew she wasn't going too, because she's always been awful in front of goal. Definitely needs some better recruitment in the summer, which will require decent investment, if they don't want to be in the same position next season.  The time wasting has obviously followed over from the mens game, which really is a shame, because there is something quite pure and refreshing about the ladies game, and to see them picking up one of the worst and annoying things in the mens game, will do the ladies game no favours.

Ddint watch but the stats showed we had a lot of the ball and more shots, seems like a game where it didnt go for us.

When was last time our womens team had 26 shots in a game. O_o

Need to sign a clinical striker, somehow try to get keeper to stay with us, and I think would be a more comfortable next season.

Do we have any of our team heading to the World Cup?

I am looking to see what games I can get tickets for next month - The England game in Melbourne is sold out but there are a few more.

....I watched the game and a lot of the frustrations were still there, poor decisions, poor ball control, passing for the sake of passing and as you say we just do not have a striker who we can rely on finishing!!!

We had chances in or around the goal and could not take them, slow to react to lose balls in the opponent's box and we struggled to get our shots off, we are too slow. We tend to bring Missy Goodwin on late, she does have a tendency to get in the right places, I would love to see her start games. We need Mace to still be around, you can see by the way she plays that she is way ahead of the other players around her, if they all had her football brain we would be such a better team.

I am a bit taken aback by Leitzig, seems to have put on weight and seems unconvincing when coming for high balls, she was more assured when she first came here, just worried that her quality is dropping, she needs to get back to being the keeper that turned up at this club.

CJ Bott will almost certainly be in the New Zealand squad, likewise Ash Plumptre in the Nigerian squad. other than that, Siemsen has a chance at the Matildas.

Not a great performance - just a simple lack of quality in the main combined with poor reffing and insufferable opponents time wasting without consequence. At least Chelsea need a result so should stay up but being second from bottom is not really a viable goal every year.

Thanks Doctor, looks like I might try and get tickets for Nigeria.

No chance of getting Matilda’s or New Zealand tickets
