He shouldn’t be in the squad as he won’t play it’s a wasted sub, even if Amartey is still out we have Evans, Ndidi, Faes and Soyuncu if needed. If anyone should be included to make the numbers up it’s Maswanhise.

What's happening with Brandon Cover? He was in the squad for the Papa John's game last week but hasn't made a single U21 PL2 squad yet this season and he's too old for the U18's. It's a real waste for a very talented player.

Started out as a right winger I believe, then he was playing either side, then last season he was mainly a left winger, now this season has been playing as a striker

...I totally agree, but Rodgers has not sought to use Soyuncu in games, even preferring Ndidi to him in the last game!!!

If Evans breaks down and he is due any time soon, we can't utilize a back 3 setup, which Rodgers tends to fall back on.

Tends to have an electric start and fade out of games, can't seem to get the same threat consistently out of him throughout the game.

It’s crazy he’s not been given a chance yet when we don’t have back up for Barnes. Not expecting him to be starting or playing extensive periods, but at least ten minutes or so here and there, and especially in cup games.

I'm not sure who's collecting those stats. I didn't think either of those things happened for u21 games.

...this guy is the same age as Alves, and has played in the Premier League last season and cup games!!!

It seems he has been accelerated through the age groups just the same, he plays CF and seems to know where the net is.

....you do get the impression that players are played out of their normal positions as perhaps a coaching tool!!!

I do not believe we are set up to attempt to win or compete for the league.
