Delighted to see that Alves has signed his contract. I was worried considering where we are in the league that he might decide not to and look at his options. I think he’s a real talent. Especially as a winger or playing in the 10 position. He might not have shined as much as he’s capable of recently as he’s been asked to play as a DM to help develop the defensive side of his game.

 If the ball his coming at you with pace and it is not easy to catch, just help it over the bar, do not parry it back into play.

McAteer with the winning spot kick! Shame he didn't get to go out on loan again. Hopefully come January there will be a team interested.

The better we do and the further we go in this against FL teams the better chance of some decent loans as they will have shown they can compete

I managed to catch the last 15-20 mins of this and the penalties. Great set of penos and Odunze was commanding. 

 

Alves had a couple of brilliant runs too. Shame I missed our two goals!!
