There was an article on the BBC website about AI the other day - more from an artistic point of view: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-62788725

So I thought I'd give the Midjourney a go:

Brendan Rodgers fired from circus cannon

Van Gogh paints Leicester City

Anime Key Visual of Jamie vardy

It is more arty than the original software & it tends to do what it wants - you can then pick an image you like & create variations from there - but I think you'd need to put in a lot more prompts to really get what you want, but its incredible it will create these images in seconds...

Probably great for someone looking to create an avatar for here though...

This is what Golden Fox comes out with:

And an "upscaled" version of bottom left

This is brilliant. Way better than Dalle2 at human likeness apart from the fact it has misinterpreted the word scout.

now try ‘Edgar Davids signs for Leicester City, FIFA 22 transfer scene.’

I read the other day that the faces are deliberately screwed up for moral reasons, which I hadn’t thought of before. The shit that could be manipulated about someone if the faces looked real is essentially unlimited and pretty scary.

The cartoon/artist one’s don’t have that same issue as they can’t be manipulated to look like actual photos, which is why they generally look much better

Definitely not a strength, it does pick up body shapes and expressions well though.

They must've messed up the faces on purpose imo.
