The Old Lady hadn’t conceded in 8 games before tonight!

Osimhen on fire!

Looks like PSG are at a bit of a junction regarding where they're going to play. They want to extend / refurb the Parc Des Princes and have offered to buy the ground from the city, who've refused. Understandably they don't want to commit to €500m worth of redevelopment on something they don't own so it seems they're looking elsewhere. I'm not sure why the city are so reluctant to sell.

Always quite liked the look of the Parc Des Princes, a weirdly attractive ugly building.

Just watching Rennes play superb at home to PSG. Joe Rodon brilliant at centre defence - clever signing in Mandanda by them too. All of the defence impressive

PSG really not having things their own way are they ?

Heading to Lisbon in May.

Sporting Lisbon play Benfica on 21st, but could get moved. Unlikely to get tickets for that, and should we not, will be looking to do a tour of one of the stadiums.

Has anyone been to either, and would recommend either of them? Only have time to do 1 so both is out of the question.

Been to Benfica for a game and snoop about mate and it's absolutely fantastic; tram stop not too far from the ground either. The museum tour is so good if you get the chance, and you see about four or five live eagles just dotted about and there's so much *stuff* there, half of it is basically a Eusebio shrine.

Went Sporting for a game in October. Cracking ground. Both are actually quite near to each other - like 20 minutes walk.

There's a likelihood that Sporting ground won't do tours on that weekend because of the game.

I'd also keep an eye on tickets just in case but be warned they won't be available to international credit/debit cards until approx a week before.

Nice one, thanks for the info. Now just need to convince the missus that if the tour isn't happening, it's because we might be going to a game instead lol

I'm watching PSG v Reims (mainly because they are the last team in my weekend acca).

They've been utter doggo so far. Just waltzing around like you'd expect from a team full of superstars, expecting the ref to blow every time an opposition player so much as touches them. Barely threatened and Reims have had just as much possession.

As others have said Benfica’s ground is great. Top-class club shop as well. It’s right next to a massive shopping mall/food court too so there’s plenty to do in the area.

If you go to Sporting, make sure you don’t refer to them as Sporting Lisbon ;)
