Going to produce an article on this and require some input.

 

So far I have...

 

- Matt Heath OG v Ipswich (h) 2004

- Chris Makin OG v Coventry (a) 2004

- A selection of Frank Sinclair OG's

- Ian Walker OG v Bolton (h) 2004

 

 

Does anyone have any others that live long in their memory? Would love to hear them instead of having to go back through the season review archives.

Sure Steve Walsh scored a long range lob for Arsenal?

 

And of course his winner for Newcastle in '92.

Don't know why I have such a memory of own goals but Vardy's was a good finish for Burnley last season.

Didn't Schmeichel palm one in against someone as well (feel like Derby)? Think that may have been a 1-0 loss.

 

EDIT: It was Doncaster. And while searching I spotted the one from Tottenham last game that cost us CL football. How could I forget (maybe I did well to blend that out).

I was at the Arsenal game, in the Arsenal end.

 

I just remember having my hands covering my face and wanting the world to eat me up.

Matt Mills away at Rotherham.

 

As I said in the "most shocking thing" thread, the Matt Heath own goal v Ipswich will always be the worse/funniest for me. I just have no clue what he was doing, even to this day.

Poor quality video but a useful recap… Frank Sinclair’s secret wasn’t the quality of own goal, but the timing…

Video higher up on the same page Trent. Thing is, your description is still more accurate than my memory. I swear it was cushioned header just outside of the 6 yard box, our end.

Is there another Wilson own goal at Villa Park?

Am I blanking out being a Spurs fan as a child?
