I think is 3 players who have come out now who said that the club simply didnt respond to contract talk requests, just a simple turning the head away decision, which is concerning, seems to be a lack of leadership at the club right now.

 

Nacho would be the one in the 2024 list I want to keep.

 

Would also be happy to keep Albrighton and Hamza who seem willing enough to play in this division.

 

You would hope that a new manager bounce would help avoid any 'stinking out the place' problem, at least until Christmas. There will be very little of LCFC in August that looks like the LCFC that was relegated in May. Any players that are still remaining will have a new manager to try and impress, and be playing for their shirt - if they want to play.

Low on quality.  Low on numbers.

 

Getting new blood in could be exciting or more realistically frightening.

So, it looks pretty likely that Castagne, Barnes and Ndidi, will be on their way for money, with Maddison. Daka and Soumare are on the "radar of other clubs". Nothing about Nacho, Pereira or Faes - yet.

Faes Daka and Soumare probably should be in yellow or green especially if Maddison/Barnes saga drags on or we don't get what we want for them.

IF Nacho has to go (even if it is to 'that lot'), a 1 year loan, with a view to getting him back IF we go up, might be an alternative? The same for a couple of others - though there will be many we can't turn down decent money for - or we can't expect to come back!
