Don't think it was verging Bert, he was already there. Honestly, never seen anything like what he was doing in that position, though appreciate my Leicester bias. Genuinely shades of Cafu about it. Wasn't just about his ability going forward as he was actually a really good defender too. Been a million miles from that level since injury (understandably) although the occasional flashes of it.

 

If only he could stay fit.

And the defence of the injuries last season was fixture congestion and bad luck. Anything other than that was scoffed at. Yet here we are, two down already

On a plus note the WC helps him as we play matched day 16 on the 11 November but don't play match day 17 until boxing day. 

 

He could be out for 5 months and only miss 17 league games.
