seriously, neither of these two injuries are down to anything other than bad luck

stop making events fit your narrative - its frigging pre season  - the players are not over played and pre season now is not as strenuous as it was years ago - players keep themselves in shape

While I don't disagree with you and it's bad luck, I still can't see a point facing Spanish teams a week before our first official season game and I've posted the same opinion days before this friendly game.

I get it that players need to reach a certain level of fitness but you can't deny that sometimes we're also pushing our luck.

The majority of european teams face a weak opponent from lower Leagues in their last pre season friendly for a reason. They don't want to risk an injury after intense pre season training and they also want to build confidence in all players by creating chances and scoring many goals.

So fed up with this now.

I worry for Ricardo now. He hasn't looked the same since the last big injury. This could finish him at the very top level.

People actually are willing to believe we never had injuries under any other manager, and injuries only started happening when Rodgers came here lol

we didn't have many injuries under peason, puel and ranieri. especially to key players

The two long term injuries of what, 3 years? If you think it's a coincidence you're truly in denial.

Two I can think of my head in 30 seconds.

No denials just questioning your incorrect facts.

He kills his players and has previous for it. That’s a fact and this isn’t a coincidence. I’m so ****ing done with looking to the pressers every week to be fed some shit about ‘a couple of weeks out’ just to lose a player for months on end.

That season is looking more and more miraculous. Imagine if we lost Vardy, mahrez and Kante to long term injuries there’s no way we would have made it over the finish line. We have to get the monks back to bless the players & changing rooms asap. Should have been done over the summer.

While they're here they can also bless the grass, the balls, the coffee cups, the nets, the goalposts, my season ticket, the beer pints and the lawnmower machine.

Are we still blaming the Covid break?

Or are we ignoring the quantity and just concentrating on one and saying injuries are normal?

Just keep those fingers and toes crossed and hope by changing nothing our injury problems will disappear!

Nothing I do is going to change the situation.

The injury record cannot be defended its inexcusable. However it cannot be solely blamed on BR, his methods will be a factor but there needs to be an investigation into all aspects of the first team activities and facilities to work out why these injuries keep occurring to first team players.

Something really isn't right.

What angers me is we’re damaging the incredibly short career of a local lad we’ve trained since he was single digits. And that’s not to mention the rest of the players. It’s beyond comprehension, looking at the sheer quality of injuries, that some fans think our training avoids responsibility.

Do you think Ricardo would have signed a 4-year deal if he and his advisors felt that the club's methods and practices were negligible?

I'm not saying it isn't bad by the way, we know it is. Just wondering how things seem to be going so wrong for him and others previously.

This is definitely speculation but it would never come out in public if it turned out to be some issue at Seagrave. Ground underneath too hard or something daft.

My new Nextdoor neighbour but one is a ground staff there. He’s a Forest fan too. 👀

I obviously have no idea about that particular case. If it was just Ricardo there’d be no issue. Some players are prone. But it’s more than just one player.

Fingers need to start pointing. And no matter how much fans like Brendan /if/ he is responsible he needs to be turfed out quickly. This is too important. It’s players’ careers at stake.

There could, of course, be another reason for the injuries. But this happened before at Celtic with Brendan. And the first place you’d look is there training and who’s responsible.

Yeah, of course, was more rhetorical than anything.

It's all just very odd. Hopefully Ricardo's recent injury is an anomaly this season.

It’s already not an anomaly this season and we haven’t kicked a ball.

Its funny that Youri and Hamza appear to be bulletproof. Are they just lucky?

Ironic considering hamza rarely features...

What are the excuses for injuries going to be this season? We haven't got COVID, a short summer break or European football, so it'll probably go back to being 'one or two bad luck injuries mean certain players are playing more than they should be'.

Something isn't right, I don't know what it is, but it needs sorting, and fast. Another long term injury to a first 11 player in August and it could totally change the shape of the season.
