Chaos at arsenal

First time they've used it.

I don't get why football stadiums/clubs get it so badly wrong.

I stood for 10 mins last season watching fans coming through the turnstile. 9 out of 10 had opted for cards. The only ones that had problems getting in were using their mobiles.

But the club ploughs on head down into us all having digital ones.

To be fair they've delayed 100% etickets by another year.

To be unfair, it’s just so instead of making a mistake they’re watching all the disasters unfold so they can emulate ALL the mistakes :D

In fairness a lot of the nfc issues are to do with either shit phones or users who shouldn't be using nfc!

People should be able to have what phones they want. My phone is from 2019 and doesn't have NFC.

I really like having an NFC ticket, much prefer it, but supporters should always have the option of a physical card in my opinion.

Having said that it is baffling how football clubs seem to **** it up so much.

Put paper ticket recycling bins in the concourse if you are so concerned about the environment (which remarkably changed with the clappers when convenient).

All the delays are down to mobile tickets yet they will persevere.

That's fine an alternative needs to be provided. A pdf/barcode on a phone screen should scan. Digital tickets are fine but it's generally only top spec phones where NFC is working well.

Yep I'd be fine with using a QR scan system. But this NFC only is rediculous.

If your phone is not capable of NFC then you do get provided with a QR code instead

City aren't concerned with the environment. Just the abolition of men with anything approaching normal testosterone levels

Mine in Google wallet has nfc and a barcode tbf, I have never had an issue getting in with a Samsung S21 except when my battery died.

Just spent 50 minutes getting tickets to download on to an older (around 60) work colleagues phone due to him not having any of the stuff LCFC require set up on it. It really is a massive faff compared to all previous methods and I don't see any benefit of it. I can accept it as an option for those that live on their phones, but there are generations of us that don't want or need this nonsense.

Saw quite a few people trying to shove their phone into the scanner part, flapping around when it didn’t work, then looking sheepish after it being pointed out to them to just tap it.

Pilot error !
