When I started the Zidane SBC I was hesitant as I thought about doing Jarzinho instead. So I did the mid icon SBC and got him from that instead!!!

 

being picky I wish I could get my chem to 33, but can’t see an easy way with Hakimi being Moroccan unless I swap out my centrebacks for special cards of Ramos and Marquinhos for the PSG chemistry link.

100% with you. Also in Div4 and it's not easy. You can usually tell after 30s if you're going to win or not.

 

Come close most seasons to making it to Div3 and always think... nah you're alright!

I did last season although I’ve got back up there far quicker than I did last season which is prolly half the problem. and will probably end up close To three by the end of the season. Have the first checkpoint already somehow.

 

But yeah of I get promoted reckon it’d be an utter grind just to get the eight wins.

I got to the Elites last year surprisingly Division 1 was harder. 

 

Currently on 3 but haven't really played it in 2 weeks through work and other things. Just grinding on the companion app. 

 

If anyone is thinking of doing Zidane, then do it. He's ridiculous.

Agree, last FIFA I was a div 2/div 1 player, this year div 4 has been my highest place so far.
 

Quite likely I’ve got worse, but I’d prefer to think that it’s because of the cross play and the bigger pool of players.

 

When you play an all gold team, you know you are in trouble before you start.

Am I being dumb or is there a trick to goalkeeping in this game? The amount of shots that are going straight through/by my 88 winter wildcard keeper is insane. Meanwhile at the other end I’m coming up against mega men.

85,84,83 players squads for 100 players sbc. That along with the objectives and the 80plus sbc should have plenty of packs for toty if you can do them all.

Goal keepers are either really amazing or completely blind. Generally they are shite. But one thing that you can do if you're good enough is manually move the keeper with the right analogue to get them in a better position to save shots

I've got one saved up from last time, I was going to save it for toty. Having seen what people are getting though I'm not holding my breath or doing a second one

Bought this near release date but barely played it as I feel like it's shite. Only play pro clubs drop in matches, can someone explain the logic in why we have to play 25 hours with a league 2 standard player until your player becomes good?

Ederson is good for me. Best I've ever used was Yashin - well worth the money. 

 

In the higher divisions I started coming up against people who could use their keepers with the right stick and I don't just mean bringing them out for corners. 

 

IF you can use them when the opposition are shooting then you're going to be very hard to beat. I'll openly admitt I've ****ed up a few times with moving the keeper to early to make the save... 

 

Try it folks, be ready to make mistakes until you figure it out though.. if I can offer any advice, think like you're taking the shot and move the keeper in that direction... - if that makes sense. 

 

I'll happily play some of you on friendlies to get you used to it.

I used to love Pro Clubs, but I hardly ever play it now.

Because if you're playing pro clubs then you're not buying packs on Ultimate Team. The business model necessitates that the other modes be half-arsed.

 

I live in hope that one day Konami or some other developer puts out a standalone pro clubs type game. It's basically the one game mode where it doesn't really matter that you don't have the licenses. Make it free to play with microtransactions for strictly cosmetic things like boots, haircuts, tattoos, you'd make a killing.

I always find that when I attack I’m met with two banks of four on the 18 and 6 yard boxes that just block everything. Then when I’m defending I only have two or three people back and they’re all over the shop. I’ve tried 0 depth and drop back and it still doesn’t work. I feel your pain.
