It’s going to have to be an interim manager for 12 months and someone who is without a clubs we simply won’t be able to sack Rodgers and afford to take a manager from another club.

It’s either we accept we’re in a relegation fight and just hope he keeps us up, and replace him in the summer, or we sack him now and just get someone on short term to steady the ship. And it realistically isn’t going to be anyone sexy.

Matt Piper is correct in saying Rodgers is in a win win situation. Sack him and he gets a huge pay off we can't afford and he will get another high profile job quickly after leading little Leicester to high league positions and an F A Cup.

Ok thx

So wages wise it would be feasible

Without compo to pay probably more viable than Frank or Potter

why would it be feasible? that was his wage 3 years ago and the club don't want to be paying 200k a week to a manager when they are attempting to get the wage bill down.

Hardly that attractive a job at the moment, players want to leave, contracts expiring, and no players brought in all summer

People on here seriously suggesting Dyche means Big Nige Mk.III is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Big Nige is the perfect man for the rebuild

I think the hierarchy at the club like known quantities as well. They simply don't have the expertise to go round shopping for managers who haven't managed in England before. Nige coming back is a distict possibility.

If Dyche is the man who could shore up our defence then he may be a good interim choice. We have been making errors for months and need to become much tighter at the back.

Once that is achieved we can start to use our flair players to a greater degree and without fear of shipping goals all the time.

Robbie Neilsen from Hearts

Remember the last guy we took from Hearts?

"Dyche coming in means we won't concede stupid goals."

We literally relegated Dyche by scoring straight from a missed penalty. This guy disrepected our club multiple times. Fvck him.

Marco Rose - readily available.

Urs Fischer - done a superb job at union Berlin.

Fischer will be going to a big club (not Bayern) when he leaves Union imo.

did well at Burnley for years with zero budget

Score a goal with one pass, not an obsession to always play out from the back
