Awful defending from Thomas especially for their goal, well didn’t defend he was further up the pitch5hen Vardy. 
 

Vardy should not be playing especially as a lone striker

I was thinking during the game we'd finally found our CB partnership.

 

Weird sensation also not to have any faith in the GK. First time I've felt like that since 2011 I guess.

Evans was great considering he was the only player in the defensive line for most of the game. 

 

Thomas and Justin had clearly been given instructions to always be forward in possession, and Ndidi kept drifting out of position. Not his fault, it's his natural instinct to move more central as he's not a CB.

People see what they want to see far too much. Tielemans and KDH's ratings are all the proof you'll need of that. Tielemans has actually started this season on much improved form, to be perfectly honest. People are desperate to put the boot in but he's not done a lot wrong - I really feel for him, he's got so little to aim at as our movement off the ball has become so passive, reminds me of the Puel era.

 

Meanwhile KDH had maybe his worst game in a City shirt last night. His work rate was fantastic to be fair, he never stopped trying, but he must have misplaced almost every single pass he played it just got painful to watch in the end. When Rodgers left him on with all of the subs I just cringed, it was verging on cruel. He's a cracking young player with a big future but yesterday was not his night, he was probably the worst player on the pitch for actual product.

I’m surprised at the manager confidence rating. However I suspect it’s a result of user interface - the radio button selector is already on “stay”.

 

Maybe more accurate a reflection would be gained by the user having to select an option?

He played all of his career at CB up until the year before we bought him. When Alex McLeish was manager of Genk he thought his passing made him a better DM than centre back.

Bit harsh considering he'd just gone on to attack and by the time he could get back, Ward was kicking it to them so they could counter
