He did shout tbf. Maybe like many of us fans, there’s still some doubt about the keeper in the defence and the action by Faes for the first reflected that?

Yeah hands up. He definitely did shout fair play. 

 

I have to say though, both own goals are still extremely unfortunate. 

 

The first one is insanely freak, for it to bobble back at that angle is just unbelievably ridiculous. 

 

And the second the way it comes back off the post at him the way his feet are it's just bounced off him. 

 

Anyone writing him off for this game is being a tool. It happens. Some of the best players in the world have had mad few minutes.

I'm not writing off Faes just yet as I'd like to see him have a run of games alongside a decent centre back. Amartey really isn't good enough for anything other than 4th choice, which is what he would be if Evans wasn't injured and we still had prime Soyuncu

Sorry lads, Ward did shout, my bad. Was a freakish own goal yet. 

 

Also, some short memories on here. Wout dragged us out of the mud on his arrival, our form changed because of him. Give him the benefit of doubt for now.
