I guess we are all here gluttons for punishment by now. Just re-watched the "highlights" of the Brentford match. For the last one he basically steps out of the way of the ball, when the ball is flying right into him. Guy is a total tool.

Yes, his total lack of interest in even pretending to try to defend that 4th goal should guarantee he never plays for us again. It was like watching somebody who doesn’t like football but has been roped into making up the numbers in a five-a-side and has only agreed to come along because he fancies the pub afterwards. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it - so bad it was almost hilarious.

I watched it again at 0.25 speed. When Mbeumo gets the pass he is about 3 yards behind Kristensen. Both start the run. Mbeumo makes up the difference almost immediately (no surprise there), attains control of the ball, overtakes K. without effort, takes the shot at Hermansen's chest. Ball bounces to Skipp and Soumare; the latter gives a perfect little pass to Carvalho, who strikes point blank. Mads blocks, but can't stop it. All Faes needs to do is extend his leg to at least try and block the ball. He just walks away.

This is probably the worst spot of defending I've seen...a sh*t show.

Just noticed this - after the match, at 10:35 RVN walks past Faes, looks at him like "You mother****er!" and shakes hands with a Brentford player.

It’s genuinely a disgrace that this club allows players, managers and others to disrespect them and they’ll continue to play them. Any other club would have frozen this idiot out months ago in an effort to force him out the door, we just seem to carry on, even when they have clearly downed tool, it’s what got us relegated 2 years ago ffs. 
 

I’m fed up of seeing this bloke stink the pitch out game after game, he doesn’t want to be here.

I'm not generally inclined to hating anybody, but Faes pushes me very close. I can accept it if a player has limited ability (Lord knows as a Leicester fan of several decades standing I've seen a few), but limited ability combined with arrogance is hard to take. Viktor Kristiansen is limited but I don't dislike him as he genuinely seems to care and he gives his all. The way Faes just stood impassively on the goal line for the 4th one on Friday summed him up - crap player who thinks he's a genius and we're lucky to have him. I hope we don't fanny around trying to negotiate an unrealistic fee for him this summer - just get him gone on the day the transfer window opens.

Luckily I was busy last night so couldn't watch the game so just watching the 'highlights'. Even in the world of abysmal defending from Wout Faes, that defending for the first was probably the worst I've seen. What an earth was he doing? Covering for an invisible player? And of course he throws his hands up in the air.
