Exactly, nail on head, this is a football club but also a business that has to maximise transfer fees for players and ensure outgoings not only cover book value but also generate some profit otherwise we will be forced to sell academy players we don’t want to lose to generate pure profit. 
 

It may be a price we have to pay to see Faes playing to ensure he leaves in January, so that long term Nelson can become a mainstay in the team for years to come. Perhaps the club and Marti have been very clear in their communication with Ben and his representatives as to the situation and his pathway.

He has wanted to leave for the last 3 windows and we have wanted to sell him, but there’s not even been a sniff. Why would someone come knocking in January, regardless of whether he’s playing or not?

 

I would argue that performances like Friday’s are bringing his value down.

He looks happier and like he cares. Hopefully the mistakes will be kept to a minimal, because take out those mistakes and he is a real asset to us.

Take the mistakes out and he isn't Wout Faes. He makes a biggish mistake almost every game, not every few games.

Yep.  I don't get the whataboutery.  If Ayew scored every time he touched the ball he'd be our best player. If Soumare made tackles, scored goals and played the ball forwards he'd be our best midfielder.  But they don't.  So they're not.

There'd be some merit if he was absolutely dominant in lots of games but just switched off. But he isn't that. He can be very good but he never blows you away with a performance even taking out the errors.

 

People often compare him to Soyuncu which is embarrassing. Even at his worst he still made fewer mistakes than Faes does, but at his peak, there were some moments of rashness but he absolutely dominated the opposing attackers. So in his case, if he was a little less rash/maybe had better leadership credentials, he would have been one of the absolute best in the world. Faes could improve everything in his game a little bit, and he still wouldn't be any better than a mid table PL player. Currently he's nowhere near that.

So, The fact that Leicester is ONLY 5TH IN THE SECOND LEAGUE( I know you people name it the champions) is all to blame on Wout Faes....he managed to bring a team coming from the first devision to a lower devision  as low as ONLY ON THE 5th PLACE.... whauw.... what world class players are the others than, they obviously can't make the bad performances  of WOUT right.....WOUT CASH  as much as you can( even on the bench, because those "so high, smart "fan's" are ruining your reputation, and they even don't know that all these ugly things they say has a huge impact on every person performances... .....CASH IN.  ....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hampstead......and UCL!!!!! Vincent Kompany has done it...and your own brother is an academic...

Something you fans have to think about ( if that's possible) I see how OHL does, same owners....maybe the both clubs are a good tax_deduction......for the owners

I hope you all know that so much critical behaviour even vulgar dirty, effects the players performances also, as with any human being....but I just read a bit over King Power group, you people know certainly that they own the king power station.....and the last financial reports concerning the King Power Group are bad.....instead of giving your players good vibes, you all are ruining the whole club....and if they fail....Leicester will not have a station anymore....and club...

Not has good as he thinks.But more than good enough for the championship. 

He will make the odd howler thats why no others team wants him.All in all adequate

and posdibly one of the top defenders in the championship.

If Nelson watches him he can learn a lot of 

of bad traits to avoid.Like losing his man or facing the wrong way.

If Daka scored 2 goals a game, every game, he'd be about half as good as the Zambian fans think he is.

I am gonna be honest about that ( I am always honest) When I saw him playing for Belgium, I always made this remark " he can not play a game without making a stupid mistake, and I shouted angry"....but I am also very sure that  it is due to the critics he gets in Leicester, it is beyond decency, after he made those two own goals game Liverpool, (others have done that before him) that reflected also in his Belgium games....that's how one undermines people, and I can also assure he doesn't think he is better than anybody else, I see and recognise and CAN READ his gestures....but I blame the Leicester fans, I have also seen him playing in Reims....for me and my opinion  "he should never have gone to a British club" the Brits have a big mouth....But tell me "how many worlchampions titles????? And a country with a huge population.....look at Spain, Italy, France, Germany....approximate the same population in numbers....Engeland once in 1966.....sad isn't it????Big mouth but as a football nation?????results????

BTW if king groups will fail....and the Leicester fans are killing their own club.....who will be eager to take it over?????
