Ric Flair Posted 31 December 2022 Posted 31 December 2022 If we're spending that sort of money and we've also said LB, CB and RW are the priority then we must be willing to spend £50-60m this window. 1

This is what I think. When it comes to it, no one really knows what is going on behind the scenes. Those with some ideas of how finances work within large organisation may have an idea as to how the finances are, but in reality we don’t really know… perhaps they’ve had some investment from a stakeholder? Perhaps they’ve had some reserve? I guess we will find out if the signings come in.. 1

LCFC2016 Posted 31 December 2022 Posted 31 December 2022 (edited) Highly likely this is unrelated but Ounahi posted on his Instagram story of him being at 'Aéroport D'orly' at about midnight, similar time to when l'equipe first said we had placed a bid... 👀 Edited 31 December 2022 by LCFC2016

We're going to see some serious outs. Cags, Youri, Perez, Mendy, Bertrand are all gone in the summer. That must be 300k off the weekly wage bill. 1

Quite a few that have the potential to leave this January I think Soyuncu, Vestergaard, Mendy, Praet, Youri JJ would also be taken out of the squad for the rest of the season 3

If we are buying him, Praet deal away must be done, so maybe 8-10m in. We need to spend whether it's now or in the summer. 2

kingfox Posted 31 December 2022 Posted 31 December 2022 He is definitely a player who can fill Youri’s role in some ways, in terms of passing and creation they are pretty much identical. The main difference is that Ounahi plays a bit more advanced and dribbling is a key part of his game. But I think @moore_94 hit the nail on the head a page back, Ounahi needs to add contributions to his game in terms of goals and assists, he is zero for both so far this season. 1
