Almost certainly the final World Cup appearance for Modric. Whatever happens Morocco are the most successful African side in World Cup history.

Such a pointless game!. Both teams of course will want to win. Do the winners get a 3rd(bronze) place in the world Cup medal!. Modric has been an amazing player for Croatia and Real Madrid.

Seen face on it was a clear penalty. His momentum took him on - made it look like a dive.

Croatia deserve this. Passing crisper and more accurate than Morocco. Then Morocco started to get mardy late on. They're all giving the ref what for, but, with a penalty would have been three. Shame they've spoiled the game somewhat.

Modric is my player of the tournament. I love the way he passes using the outside of his right boot - sheer class.

Small player, small country, but continually punching above their weight. Guardiol, Juranovic and Perisic also outstanding.

Fair play to both teams seemingly caring about the game. It's pointless but maybe it does mean something to some people.
