On a different note; weren’t Arsenal woeful? Away support is on its arse. Didn’t have a peep until they scored and they went straight to a rent a song book

Always been mediocre.

Must've been gutting for the Facebook crowd that the crowd didn't boo or turn toxic. Almost as though we are shit whatever the atmosphere is.

Lots of comments on here about how atmospheres in England are dead, and that only Scotland is any good on these islands.

St Andrews tonight nailing that lie.  Absolutely rocking, proper old fashioned humdinger of an atmosphere.

Just a shame that every time I've been St.Andrews for the last 15 years it's been half empty, devoid of any atmosphere and epitomised everything we say about modern English football then.

Club’s ticket policy really not helping.

’Bring your whole squad to Arsenal at home’… basically just results in ‘buy a ticket for that bloke you know who supports the away team but is prepared to sit on his hands for 90 minutes’. Away fans getting through the door easier than a local fan if they know someone.

Seen a few mentions of away fans in the home end today and someone made an unwise decision to celebrate Arsenal’s first in L1. Fair to say he found out in a very brutal manner that he’d made a mistake.

Yep. Absolutely through out the ground today. Someone nearby me made the decision to exit the ground sharpish at Arsenals first which was telling

At least four in the Kop.

I find it utterly depressing being priced out so much each match I have to sit in the family stand for category a and a lot of b games.. its abysmal the whole experience from listening to a poor away support to looking at L1.

Serge poem, montage clappers, final whistle clappers. And I want a season ticket next season, I must be mad!!

The worst people are the ones who “shush” when it goes quiet and then don’t join in with any chants.

Surely it's an ironic tradition as old as time.

I remember the whole Kop doing it at filbo.

Went today with Charlton supporting wife and family. Silence until their 20m odd cheat mode player scored. Then sang Stansfield is worth more than you for 2 minutes. Classy.

Were then outsung for the rest of the game by 2000 travelling fans.

Absolute library of a ground.

I get the pisstaking behind it, but it’s always from rows behind me that never join in with normal songs.

A club as big as them nicking the Liverpool Allez chant is cringe (aware Liverpool probably didn't start it but they brought it into the mainstream)

Also, hadn't realised they do "and Leicester" in Over Land and Sea, thought that was only a Chelsea thing, due to the rivalry

I had 2 in front of me today who were smart enough to keep quiet. It was obvious who they were there to watch but until they start making a show of themselves, no point making a scene

Anyone going to help the first five rows of the section?

Can normally hear UFS from P2 but even that part was quiet today for me. Certainly not as loud as it’s been. Heard L1 sing for about 2 minutes, most of the ground in the 14th and a spurt from UFS in the second half. Otherwise it was dull from everyone.

A couple of us try and join in from different patches of section, but with so many people around not trying it’s hard for it to catch on

It's cos it gets busy driving out of freeman's common is the favourite  excuse, has to be done, no matter the game situation, or whether strictly  come dancing is due on tv

Allegedly they actually sang it first. Some (very) old Chelsea refuse to song it as it's an "Arsenal song".

Wouldn’t it be brilliant if everyone on here who wants it to be better actually meets up in the summer for an “atmosphere reset”

May be as close to madness as you can get, but not a bad shout lol
