Another great pod but a huge thanks for adding the songs, I knew that they were good but listening to them all again (more than once) made me laugh too much at a busy gym.

I wish that I could be creative with the lyrics but come up with nothing, however - would Ricky Martin - Livin’ La Vida Loca work??

The work that’s gone into all of these lyrics and then hearing them come to life with the music, is quite literally the best thing that’s come out of this season.

Good episode.

 

One point on the pod really hit home for me — the whole “agents” issue. It barely gets discussed, yet for me it’s one of the biggest frustrations with KPFC.

 

The attitude from some of these players is embarrassing, and the recruitment has been a shambles. We’ve ended up with a string of duds, and somehow we’re the ones paying agents for the privilege. The likes of Wasserman are taking us for idiots

 

In any normal situation, if you kept buying something that turned out to be rubbish, you wouldn’t keep going back to the same shop. But in football, we seem stuck in the same cycle with the same agencies, burning through what little money we have.

Agents are about the only things more unpopular in the game than VAR. People who are there to leech off others’ success purely because players can’t be arsed with the admin.

Yeah, I noticed this yesterday morning so messaged Jake. He didn’t know they’d been taken down, Spotify hadn’t notified him. He thinks it might be a copyright violation so nothing he can I do I guess. @Anonymous F.O.X.has them on his SoundCloud so at least we can still listen to them on there.
