My problem with that handball and indeed a lot of the ones we've been seeing recently isn't necessarily that they shouldn't be handballs, but that it seems totally disproportionate for the punishment to be the opposition being given an 80% chance of scoring.

Is that not the same as most fouls in the box?

We're 45mins away from the negative nancies ensuring us that the European Champions aren't actually very good and that we've still not beaten a decent team this century

Or saying the Sven era was more enjoyable

Kane, great English striker but will always be remembered as a bottler unless he racks up a trophy soon.

Behave you div, was Alan shearer a bottler because he stayed loyal to Newcastle, on having said his I do hope he leaves spurs, but calling him a bottler is lazy

Either Italy are very poor OR this is a very good England performance, sharp, crisp passing, great pressing without the ball, look very good so far

Depends what your mindset is. Most people will probably say that it’s a poor Italy side because apparently it’s a crime to give any sort of praise to England. But for me, it’s been a great England performance. Attacking with pace. Not resting on our laurels. Looked dangerous most of the time we’ve gone forward. Chances created. Best we’ve played for a very long time.

Honestly mate, don’t. It’s absolutely painful isn’t it.

Alan Shearer won the Premier League...

Harry Kane isn't a bottler, he plays for a side that just don't win things.

Well yeah but at least a lot of those are the result of a conscious action taken by the defender. Having a penalty given against you because your arms weren't pinned to your side and the ball has happened to hit one of them just fundamentally doesn't make sense to me. If it's like Willian the other day then fair enough.

They didn’t even make the World Cup. Look at the state of their team, Verrati is about their best player. Their main striker plays for the team currently 21st in the Argentinean league.

Shearer won the Premier League. Not a bottler.

What's Joe Cole on about? Redemption for Kane when he scored. Redeeming himself for what?

Missing the pen against France when we were knocked out of the World Cup?

I also don't think Joe Cole understands yardage either lol

Said there was no one within 10 yards of Kane. He and another Italian player are both in the 6 yard box lol

Good point. Forgot about that. I'll let him off!
