Is he? How do you know that?

He probably does but the point is, his role, as with every other t*** at this club is shrouded in mystery because the supreme leader doesn't want to communicate with anyone. And Rudkin ain't going unless Top does so that's where all the anger should be directed. Otherwise you might as well yell into the ether.

How are you doing Mr G Brock? 😅

Vardy said "that's up to Rudkin" when asked about new deal. Coady told Piper he couldn't believe what Rudkin offered him. I could go on?

Is we don't know what he does really the last defense of Rudkin we can think of now? Do you feel sorry for him?

He's destroying our club. This really shouldn't need explaining to anyone.

Where’s this from?

I feel desperately sorry for which is why I stated in my first post that I find it improbable he isn't useless. I then referred to him as a t***. Interesting way to defend somebody lol.

Vardy was playing up to the crowd on that one and not heard Coady say that. Weird he'd say that whilst still employed by the club? My point is that I really wouldn't be surprised if he has a very ceremonial position and the value of contracts/transfers etc is decided by Top or Whelan and he just acts as mouthpiece. Even if he does have complete responsibility, it's not his fault he's so out of his depth and his boss doesn't sack him or move him to another role, even if he does have to shoulder the blame for doing such a crap job.

Of course I want Rudkin gone and a proper director of football in but it's beyond naïve to think that getting rid of him will fix anything whilst Top is here, and as I said, Top clearly isn't going to that. All the focus should be on getting Top/KP out as that fixes far more problems and subsequently also means Rudkin would go.

It’s his job title

And? You ever worked in a place where people have jobs that's have absolutely nothing to do with that they do. As I said, almost certainly is him but nobody can say for sure because there is absolutely no clarity on who does what at his club is there?

Not attempting to absolve him of the probable blame but rather trying to direct my anger in a more targeted way towards a solution that actually fixes it (change of ownership). Rudkin isn't going anywhere.

Sorry, let me change it to say that I think Rudkin is doing a wonderful job and in no way to blame. Deserves a pay rise really.

Playing up to the crowd but he also referred to who all the players speak to about a new deal. It's not news that Rudkin negotiates deals.

Coady did tell that to Matt Piper and he's said it a few times so there you go.

Rudkin leaving wouldn't solve anything over night but him staying ensures out demise. It's quite simple stuff all this.

Seems too comfortable/settled in the job at the club's expense after, apparently, earning the right to be in that position - based on his academy success and loyalty to the organisation.

Possibly 'untouchable'; and can't see him resigning, as can't imagine Top/Susan Whelan sacking him.

Has he received offer from other clubs/companies that wanted to poach him?

Got any links to that, just out of interest?

Last point, yes it is simple; Top goes, Rudkin goes and other problems are solved as well. Rudkin goes but Top stays, new DOF likely to be somebody who licks Top's boots and in the event that are competent, they'll still have to deal with all the other crap Top brings and we'll be back in this cycle.

Rudkin is a symptom, Top/KP are the disease.

You would imagine so - after all Guy Branston who worked with him said he was one of the best in the business. Given this is our natural level you would imagine it's easy pickings for someone like Real Madrid.

Just noticed Russell Martin in the bottom right hand corner so they also use this to scout for managers!
