As always with England, it's hard to tell if it's a good or bad session because we move the game along so fast. Obviously not good losing 3 wickets but 133 runs in the first morning is good. Only going to win though if someone scores big.

I disagree with a lot of England decisions at times but this was not one, he was in and started to get in his zone.

 

If his groin has gone I doubt he'd have been back out anyway

I think if you’re put in, 300+ is decent. Australia will want us all out today, under 250 ?

Yes. I just don't know with this side. We score so quickly we could pass 250 in another 10 overs. It's very muggy, Anderson is due a really good spell, and this evening, or tomorrow morning could be it (fingers crossed). Because I really can't see us batting for a long time.

If we bat for another 25/30 overs we will easily be 300+. 
l still think we’re getting used to how we play, so hard to know what’s around the corner ! 
Hopefully we bat until the new ball at least, should be 375+.

Not much Stokes could have done about that. We are going to need to bowl well. edit (On the replay it looked a slight misjudgement, but it was a very good delivery nonetheless.)

Don’t blame them. It’s been a brilliant series but I think the media stuff has been shite from both teams this time. I don’t think England help themselves with #bazball and #nighthawk and all that shit chat, but then you’ve got Hayden trying to make out Ollie Robinson is a Sunday league bowler, Warner just saying Warner things, BBC going on about “the Moral Ashes”, it’s just been totally unnecessary and it’s properly wound me up reading it

TBF I think the press from both sides has been gutter long before this series.
