Iheanacho. The most frequent big game player of our side who'd finally get a proper run that he deserves.

Sticking rigidly to the question with no other factors at play.

Maddison would destroy the Championship

He’d get kicked off the ball every time he touched it.

Got to be Nacho or Daka. Daka would piss it with his pace.

I feel like Daka will stay, Nacho not so sure, but I agree those 2 together would work wonders. They shown that in the couple of Europa games they played together.

You're doing the Champ a disservice thinking half the league just kick lumps out of each other re: Maddison, though. He was excellent in the league at a younger age, and it's a far more technical league these days aside from a few teams. Look at Burnley coming up with the football they played.

He'd be constantly bullied and injured. And don't forget, most defenses have worked him out now. If you can stop him releasing the ball early, he holds it for too long and tries to play the free kick. He's been found out and become easier to play against. He is going to have to move on and work hard on his game to compensate.

a nacho daka partnership would be funny to watch. They’d either be smashing in 5 goals or it will look like 2 blind guys running around covered in grease.

Im all for seeing it

The only skill that Daka’s previously demonstrated was having devastating pace to chase a big ball over the top. Firstly I’m not seeing that pace to the same extent anymore, secondly that one attribute requires a high press from the opponents. That isn’t going to happen against us in The Championship. We’ll be seen as a big fish and teams will likely play deeper and try and hit us on the break. Daka will instead need to rely on guile and skill to get opportunities. His dribbling skills resemble a toddler trying to dribble with a balloon at a wedding. As for guile or nous - his positional sense and movement off the ball make him very very easy to mark and nullify. He’s unfortunately been to date, an absolute waste of money.

Iheanacho, let him be our Mitrovic for the season. Rest besides the core (Iversen, Souttar and KDH) are for sale for the right price. Go into next season with either a 4411 which brings out Kels best  when behind the striker or 433/4231 with Kel leading the line.
