Man City away in 1994/95. Mark Robins with the only goal. I think it was our only away win that season in the league.

I've still got the t-shirt the club made to commemorate the win - 'Me and Mark Robins Made a Splash at Maine Road.'

Gary Megson's Blue & White Army, 1-0 smash and grab at Villa in the cup.

Stoke away in the Play Offs - Gary Parker laughing at himself for scoring a volly.

Strange one but Burnley away the season we got promoted comes to mind. We'd hit abit of bad form and Burnley hadn't lost at home all season.

0-1 win at Old Trafford in the MON era. Tony Cottee with the only goal.

I was in the home end for that one, with a mate who was a Man U fan. Did I have a good night in Manchester after that, at his expense😊

My first game watching City...

1967 (December I think).. Away to Spurs who had gone something like 42 home games undefeated...

It will like The Alamo...A young Peter Shilton was unbeatable that day!!

1-0 to City... Alan Tewley.

Too right, we were on the end of coins raining down from above.

Chased around the Victoria Ground as well as I remember, but it always was an iffy place to go to.

Mills scoring the only goal at Stoke in 89 - not won away for over a year before them (although we were a mid table team and Stoke were the worst team in the league)

Ha ha yes, I was there, celebrated like we won the league, still remember the panic and shushing when a few cocky or brave souls started to sing jingle bells in case it jinxed it. lol

Some Stoke fans were not happy that day...

I can remember my dad telling me to stop grinning as we walked back to the car after he noticed groups of angry looking stokies lol

Liverpool away 1981. They hadn't lost for 4 seasons at home. Useless and relegation bound, we went there and won.

Mid eighties were were notoriously shite away. Prob about 1 win in 3 or 4 seasons.  We went to white Hart lane and did them 3-1, totally out of the blue.

Middlesbrough promotion party last  day. We were the classic mid table on the beach. A Gary Mac beauty got the meagre away following of 200 an absolute battering in exchange for the 3 points

I was in the Boro home end , behind the goal and the build up was brilliant in a pub called the yellow rose.

We had nothing to play for but were all over them.

Probably one of the only games where I didn't mind if Leicester lost as the place would have been bouncing.

I was a bit toxic after as we walked out and boro fans were trying to get at our lot.

That 3-1 Spurs win was a thing of beauty.  A rare good game for Mark Bright who was struggling to find any form. I remember City fans singing 'Do you want to buy Mark Bright' to away fans later in the season because he just didn't cut it for us. Definitely an unexpected win and great for me as it was my first time at WHL.

Won 3-1 at Villa, Claridge, Izzet, Parker, I think. First season in the PL 96/97 under O'Neill, also a 2-1 at Spurs the same season.

Another 2-1 at Anfield, Gilchrist? Fenton? 98/99?

Ayresome Park, I remember it well. They were ready to party and we blew them away. Pleat was manager and we were on a good run.
I was on the supporters coach and we needed a police escort all the way to the A1. Toxic at the end and we were glad to get out in one piece.

Was there, Peter Weir on the wing scored the first, then Gary Mac struck.

Was sat in with the Stoke fans, friend of mine was in Stoke youth team, got me a ticket and despite my attemps to be moved downstairs, stewards refused, just remember hordes of City fans pointing up at us and chants of 1 nil after Mills scored right in front of us.

Not necessarily away but neutral ground for both teams... Wembley stadium 1994.

A Derby team expensively assembled with a fully fit squad vs a patched up , makeshift Leicester side due to injuries and suspensions.  An underrated victory in our history.

I remember us winning 4-1 at Newcastle in March 1985 on a Wednesday night I think it was and they had Peter Beardsley and Chris Waddle playing for them

I was living in Middlesbrough and went to this game.  Ian Andrews in goal for us had the most amazing game.  Oh for a repeat tonight 👍.

Incidentally I had to convince the cops to let me out of the away end after the match - after a little to and fro they not only let me out but gave me a lift to the train station as I would have definitely missed my train.  Fair play to them 👏

Bit of an obvious one but West Brom away to start the great escape. Thought we’d get nothing from that but being right behind the goal to see Vards rob the ball on the halfway line and smash in a last minute winner……

Done the double on them and got most of our points from the then big five, spuds, arse, everton, liverpool and manure.

Newcastle May 22nd 2023

Losing 1-0 at half time, second half sees a Barnes equaliser and a Vardy pen seeing us win 2-1.

The Charlton and Palace away south London double header, after the disastrous opening 10 game winless run under O'Neil

4 days apart. Most important week of the O'Neill era.
