I thought Rangers went bust

Yeah they did after some horrendous financial mismanagement, and selling the club to unfit persons. After the reforming, the other SPL clubs could have allowed them to continue in the SPL but they eventually voted against the idea, effectively forcing them to re-apply as members of the league. At least thats how I remember it.

If Chelsea and Man C were found guilty of outright cheating, it would be great if the other Premier League clubs could vote against them being allowed to continue in the league, but doubt this could/would happen

Why

Because they’re gonna get more points than Sheff Utd Burnley and Luton

How on earth is 36 year old Tim Ream and Calvin Bassey an actual Premier League centre back pairing in 2023.

Both sides look significantly better than us at the moment and these are just mid table teams at best

Shows the gulf in class between the top two divisions IMO

Premier League is degrees ahead in terms of technical play, level of finishing is lethal too, but both defences playing tonight aren't anything special.

If we do go up we'll need some serious improvements.

Beyond parody with us and VAR this season.

How they've decided that was clear enough to review and overturn I really don't know. Especially after all the shite we've had to put up with getting overlooked.

It was so soft it was almost a dive.

Think we give both a good game to be honest. Would love to draw one of these i the 5th round of the FA cup.

It's more than the penalties. Ream not getting a second yellow for that is astonishing. Vinicius as well could've had a red, and almost certainly would've done if Kilman had gone down.

There's only so long you can say it's bad luck. O'Neil needs to take the fine.

They cannot do a 2nd yellow tbf .

(Yet)

Agree they said on TS the Wolves lad was too honest .

They will probably say it’s been consistent by giving 2 penalties for the same sort of incident.

It would have been uprgraded to a straight red, no second yellow.

And I thought they'd banned stuttering/stopping in run ups to penalties?

Almost?  It was a dive, pure and simple.  I know there is a school of thought that if you can touch the defender on the way down then it isn't a dive, but even so if someone flings himself to the floor voluntarily, it can't truthfully be said that the defender has tripped him.

What I want to know is who tells the refs that they must only look at slow motion replays and never the full speed replay.  Only a complete fool would think that you can learn nothing from watching it at normal speed - but refs, when called to the screen, never do.  Someone is teaching them that they need to pretend to be (pretend? well, some of them must be quite bright) complete fools when reffing a game.

Sack the PGMOL, the whole organisation.  For the rest of this season and the next, let the referees do their reffing without VAR looking over one shouldser and the PGMOL looking over the other.  It can't be less controversial, and it would make the game better.
