DennisNedry Posted 16 December 2023 Posted 16 December 2023 The Ipswich Leeds game should be a cracker.

I'm pretty cautious about us, but even I would feel fairly safe in saying that they wouldn't catch us from there.

The gap to 3rd is infinitely more important than the gap to 1st. If you offered Town fans a win and a loss in their next 2 games against Leeds and Leicester, I reckon everyone would go for beating Leeds and losing to Leicester. We'd rather a 13 point gap on them than being level with you (assuming you beat Rooney's Birmingham City and Rotherham) Same opinion I have.. no disrespect to Ipswich, but the priority is promotion and steering clear of third guarantees that Of course we'd love to win the league but promotion first

I don't imagine Ipswich will be too fussed about winning the league if it means being promoted. Good luck to you. Ipswich would definately be my preferred choice to finish in second behind us and you definately deserve it thus far.
Torten Posted 16 December 2023 Posted 16 December 2023 Have the best team in the championship failed to win again? 1
South Shire Fox Posted 16 December 2023 Posted 16 December 2023 (edited) Minus the Tom Lockyer situation its been a good day. Ipswich and Leeds dropping points and Rodgers doing his best to do over Scumbag FC and their deluded fanbase ☘️. Lovely stuff. Keep it up Brendan Edited 16 December 2023 by South Shire Fox 1

Stonewall penalty turned down and all sorts going unpunished on the pitch, I was seething with the little rat 4
Chrysalis Posted 16 December 2023 Posted 16 December 2023 Was funny cov keeper carrying on time wasting as if the yellow meant nothing, probably figured the ref was never going to send him off for it,

All team are going to drop points, including us.
AyewJoking Posted 16 December 2023 Posted 16 December 2023 They should be right up for Monday night now but let's hope we don't get spursey.

But they are definitely an extremely strong team on the games I have watched, and are a danger to our position until its mathematically not possible. Their poor start has given us the buffer we have. A few earlier in the season predicted we would need it, and was good foresight. 1

More a degree of fun, arrogance would be all our away fans turning up in top hat and tails for the game at their ground drinking Champagne. 1

Up until they aren’t winning, right lmao you being serious 🧐 im trying to process your logic here, so they started badly, had a decent run and now playing badly and that makes them better… right I guess only you and Einstein can understand Edited 16 December 2023 by foxes_rule1978 1 1
