Ipswich win that and it's pretty much over for leeds

If we also beat Birmingham and Rotherham, an Ipswich win would put us 16 points ahead of Leeds at Christmas.

I'm pretty cautious about us, but even I would feel fairly safe in saying that they wouldn't catch us from there.

As a Tractor Boy in peace, the focus has pretty much been 99% on Leeds amongst Town fans for months. The gap to 3rd is infinitely more important than the gap to 1st.

If you offered Town fans a win and a loss in their next 2 games against Leeds and Leicester, I reckon everyone would go for beating Leeds and losing to Leicester. We'd rather a 13 point gap on them than being level with you (assuming you beat Rooney's Birmingham City and Rotherham)

Same opinion I have.. no disrespect to Ipswich, but the priority is promotion and steering clear of third guarantees that

Of course we'd love to win the league but promotion first

Makes sense. I don't imagine Ipswich will be too fussed about winning the league if it means being promoted.

Good luck to you. Ipswich would definately be my preferred choice to finish in second behind us and you definately deserve it thus far.

Minus the Tom Lockyer situation its been a good day. Ipswich and Leeds dropping points and Rodgers doing his best to do over Scumbag FC and their deluded fanbase ☘️. Lovely stuff. Keep it up Brendan

We had some at half time v millwall in fairness 😂

Think that was for the refs performance, not ours. Stonewall penalty turned down and all sorts going unpunished on the pitch, I was seething with the little rat

Ipswich, Leeds and Southampton would of lost, unfortunately they don’t

Southampton aren’t even in the picture… 4 points dropped in total for our serious rivals is a good time

Have the best team in the championship failed to win again?

I've been hearing that they are the best team to play fooball ever, anywhere, in the history of the world.

Leeds still nailed on to catch us?

Seen a few posts like these as if there is a degree of arrogance.

It was a freak result and I will take it, their attacking was relentless.

As freak a result as losing to Sunderland? Or the other points they have dropped.

All team are going to drop points, including us.

Didnt watch that game.

But they are definitely an extremely strong team on the games I have watched, and are a danger to our position until its mathematically not possible.

Their poor start has given us the buffer we have.  A few earlier in the season predicted we would need it, and was good foresight.

More a degree of fun, arrogance would be all our away fans turning up in top hat and tails for the game at their ground drinking Champagne.

They’ve not shown anywhere near the consistency of us all season so far

Up until last 2 games they were on a better run of consistency in terms of results, in their performances (after they got their act together from that poor start).

Up until they aren’t winning, right lmao you being serious 🧐

im trying to process your logic here, so they started badly, had a decent run and now playing badly and that makes them better… right I guess only you and Einstein can understand
