I wasn’t talking about ref decisions as much as just breaks going for you. In the context of that post, it was more aimed at Leeds to be fair.

Look, ultimately you’re getting your points because you’re fighting to the end and working hard. That’s why you and Leeds will be top 2 come the end of the season.

Do you have as much attacking in the box though? When I see Ipswich there is a lot of shooting from range, probably the reason for a lot of deflected goals because you’re actually taking shots rather than being afraid to like our lot.

Like I say, that was just one stat I had to hand. 11 pens to 2 for that period does not suggest Leicester are unlucky and Ipswich are lucky.

We mix it up shots-wise, there's no particular theme.

Our average shot distance is 16.9 yards vs the opposition average of 17.8 yards.

Leicester have averaged shots at 16.7 yards vs the opposition average of 18.1 yards.

So there's actually very little difference between us in terms of shot distance.

Question for you - if we perform as well as we did yesterday for every remaining game and don't create any chances, do you think we'll go up automatically?

Don’t really see the point of this as we obviously didn’t play as well yesterday as we did against Leeds?

I didn't see the point of the previous post so we've completed the circle here.

The point of my previous post was we played well against Leeds. We should have gone two up and they were offering nothing. My point stands, as if we had played that well yesterday we would have won.

Ipswich are definitely not lucky, I seen a podcast before the season predicting they would finish 4th. I think Ipswich performances despite having way less resources than Leicester, rubs some Leicester fans up the wrong way. Even in the two games we played against each other, Leicester had spells of dominance bit not more than 55-60% over the whole match. Its hard for some fans to accept a team that were two divisons apart from us just over a year ago, are now our equals. I say fair play to them, of the 4 teams that have threatened automatics, they are also best equipped to take the setback if they were to miss out, and achieve promotion through the play offs.

You seem to have handily ignored the deflections that Ipswich have regularly had throughout the season including against us and even the opening goal against Plymouth yesterday. Deflections that result in a goal are definitely luck and they have had a tremendous amount of luck in that regard compared to us and virtually everybody else in the league. There luck will run out.

Its worrying now that before we had excuses that we could have won, should have won, created chances etc, but yesterday we did feck all to warrant a win.

I see Ipswich, saints and leeds tough it out to get late goals to win games or get a point but I honestly cant see us doing that at the moment.

Haha. We haven't regularly had deflections throughout the season, we've had 2 or 3, and the reason you get deflections that go in is by shooting towards goal. Whether they go in cleanly or deflected doesn't matter - if you keep shooting it isn't just luck.

I could also tell you loads of occasions where we've lost points due to being unlucky. You don't watch our games so you will have missed those.

We're into March now, only 3 points behind you, and have only lost 4 games all season. That's an extraordinary amount of luck!

Bristol City have gone from 4 points off the playoffs to 6 points from relegation. Shouldn’t have sacked Nigel.

Leeds 10/3 to win the league.

Ipswich 6/1 to win it.

Worth a punt on both.

Definitely Ipswich. They just don’t know how to lose at the moment.

Does it matter? I just wonder why after a great win yesterday, you feel the need to be in here being defensive. Why does it even matter. You’re doing great, you’re nailed on for promotion now. Can you just be happy about that? Just seems very insecure…

This is a Leicester forum, of course fans opinions are going to be biased, especially as like you point out, we don’t see all your games!

According to this live score Danny been keeping himself busy as a forward.

His 6.6 rating is about 6 times more than his average rating for us, this must be a mistake.

Leeds the same. Both seem to have the quality and energy to just keep going til the end...

Playing well at this stage of the season counts for nothing if you have a pathetic mentality unfortunately.

It's an 800 meter olympic final and we went out the block amazingly and pulled out a 30metre lead...

We are on the home straight and are huffing and puffing with the others catching us.

Legs are wobbling, mind is gone....can we get a second wind to pull it off???

Ipswich may be 'lucky' but they create their own luck by attacking quickly and shooting when the chance comes leading to defences being out of shape and deflections likely.

If we shot more we might get more deflections... Crazy idea

Nope, it doesn't matter. I've been on here a while, not just since our win yesterday. I'm interested in what other supporters are talking about.

"Can you just be happy about that?" - as in, can I just go away and not correct you with facts?

Sounds very much like you're the one being defensive and is very insecure.

No, we're not nailed on for anything. Honestly, the doom and gloom on here. I've even seen one of your supporters saying he's throwing his ST away. Whilst top!

You've had a blip but you're still in the driving seat and have a much better squad than ours, sprinkled with Prem players. You'll be fine.
