Filthy tackle for the RED by Abiodun (Nigeria)... she shouldnt feature in the finals series again

3 and a half games so far and only one goal for open play. Not helped by the fact one side is always defending deep. Hopefully England will see to that tomorrow. Spain also probably will later.

Just seen that. Very nasty. Lawrence has her foot solidly planted and that would have been her leg broken.

Spain just wanted to walk it in the net. Could have bagged a hatful if they were a bit more 'free' and not doing the extra unnecessary pass.

Surprised to see USA only beat Vietnam 3-0 overnight, nobody has really had a standout game yet.

 

Japan-Zambia is an interesting one, should be an easy Japan win but Zambia just beat Germany in their warm up game and have some talent in the team.

Could have been much more, Vietnam rarely got out their half and didnt have a shot all match.  1000's of USA fans have made the trip which I was a bit surprised to see, although womens football is hugely popular in the states....and they'll probably win it again.

Japan play some nice stuff but quality in final third is terrible.
