Hahaha this VAR is somehow even worse.

Talk through the process, not the final decision ffs.

Exactly, let the fans here the whole discussion and how they’ve come to that decision, they may understand the decisions and create less aggro.

As for the penalty just given what’s the point in stating her decision over the tannoy when it’s quicker and easier to understand a hand signal.

Its like they’ve begrudgingly accepted to accept the refs being miked up but are desperately trying to hold on to some sort of secrecy or power.

England have been quite poor so far out muscled mostly and outplayed periodically.
A team with someone who can score could easily be in front.
They seem over anxious to succeed need to add some poise to their game.

Thought Haiti were the better side. England just putting it  into the box and trying to feed off scraps.

Can we sign Dumornay? She’s class. Best player on the pitch by a country mile.

Just moved to Lyon, think she's passed us by haha

I think the part of the issue is they are explaining the decision, but the roar following the decision is so loud you can’t hardly hear it.

Pretty sure she was saying after no penalty that it’s a free kick due to an England foul. You just couldn’t hear it.

I was listening to some officials talking about this earlier, their view was that the explanation should come to help educate and understand and then the decision (verbally and shown in stadium). Issue at the moment is the decision is shown and the crowd responds and you can’t actually fully hear the decision communicated verbally from the official. I understand people want to hear the full decision making process but this is just the first step into trialling comms, you can’t just go and throw everything out all at once.
